Author has written 9 stories for Inuyasha, Fullmetal Alchemist, Escaflowne, Rurouni Kenshin, Sailor Moon, and Bleach. Australian student who spends entirely too much of her time reading fanfic (though I have to confess I prefer writing original stuff) and obsessed with the following: Books --The Silmarillion (that wonderful world of Middle-Earth created by J.R.R. Tolkien), Dorothy Dunnett's Lymond Chronicles, Guy Gavriel Kay's beautiful writing, and the amazingly complex intrigues in A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin. And, of course, J.K.R's Harry Potter series. I am quite fascinated by the Blacks and the Malfoys...and Slytherin in general. Anime/Manga -- Rurouni Kenshin (which had the honour of being my introduction to the genre, and is still my favourite), Sesshoumaru from Inuyasha (except that the series just seems to be going on and on...), and Kurama from YuYu Hakusho - there is such an interesting duality in his existence as both the cold, calculating Youko and the polite, soft-spoken Shuiichi. Others are Full Metal Alchemist, Escaflowne, Saiunkoku Monogatari, Kare Kano and Fruits Basket. I'm also a general fan of CLAMP, but favourites are Tokyo Babylon and xxxHOLiC. I adore Yuuko/Clow. I love complex characters and historical fiction. Fics are usually written on spur-of-the-moment inspiration, and I have a tendency to write one-shots rather than long epics. Updates will be sporadic, because, unfortunately, studying takes precedence. That said, please enjoy! Reviews will be much appreciated. | |||||||
