Hi everyone,

I started reading Ranma fan fiction when I was in university and since then I was hooked to Ranma 1/2 series and fiction. Gradually I expanded to Bleach fan fiction and Justice League fan fiction.

Generally speaking I only read romances and stories which have a happy ending, even if it has an angsty middle. As a Ranma fan, I'm all for Ranma and Akane. I never really understood why most Americans hated R+A pairing until I actually watched the English dubbed version of Ranma. Ouch, that was torture on my ears and clearly did not reflect the character of Akane as per the Japanese version. Stupid American voice actors, they seem to pick them off the streets to dub the greatest anime classics and turn them into trash. I'm a strict supporter of watching Anime in Japanese format with subtitles. It is the original for one and second, it helps you build up some Japanese.

Anyway, that's my opinion. I like Romance in all forms so I don't mind other pairings. My second favourite is Ranma + Kasumi, my least favouriteis Ranma + Nabiki/Kodachi.

As for the rest of my interests, I've not actually watched that many anime, I'm very fickle with my selection and only watch animes that make me cry with sadness or laugh with happiness.

Personal Favourite Anime of all time: Fushigi Yuugi by Yuu Watase. The first anime that I picked up in my uni days, the first anime which I shed tears.

Second personal favourite: None, actually, used to be Naruto, then Bleach, now nothing since those two shows have gone down the drain. Naruto has been degraded into a kiddie show while Bleach has a gross amount of fan service and filler episodes that corrupts my Christian mind with unholy cravings of Matsumoto and Yoruichi. I'm kidding but seriously, instread of telling a great story, half the time I wonder whether I'm watching a fashion advertisement.

Other animes that I love:

1) Oh My Goddess (OVA, Movie and Series)

2) Mai Hime (gross amount of fan service but with a killer storyline and characters)

3) Ranma 1/2 (The series I watch when I need a laugh. Plus it is the best series to expand into fan fiction since nothing ever gets resolved in that series)

4) Maisson Ikkoku (Rumiko Takahashi's true masterpiece)

5) Transformers (Refering to the various Japanese series i.e. Headmasters, Super God Masterforce, Victory Saber.

Non-Japanese animation that I love:

1) Original Transformers and Movie (I have mixed feelings about the 2007 film)

2) Gargoyles (One of TWO American animation series I truly respect for storyline and character growth)

3) Kim Possible (Don't ask me why, I love it for the same reason I like Gargoyles)

4) Thundercats

5) Virtually all Disney movies from 1989 (The Little Mermaid) to 1999 (Tarzan).

6) Justice League (A very recent interest)

Other Series and Fiction I'm familiar with:

1) Babylon 5 (my favourite and IMHO, the greatest sci-fi series of all time)

2) Star Trek

3) Star Wars

4) Warhammer 40K (don't play it, just read the stories)

5) Gundam (not really a fan but familiar)

6) Played Final Fantasy 7 and 8, personal favourite is 8

Reason why I write my stories

1) Forging our own destinies - In addition to wanting to close the Ranma series with a happy ending, I was severely disgruntled with the Star Wars and Warhammer 40K universes which never have a happy ending for their storylines thanks to the damnable George Lucas who can't write for nuts. Therefore I decided to rewrite the history of the Star Wars universe.

I will admit though, this story is also a way to express my growth and understanding of Christ, which I accepted in January 2006. It was one of the greatest moments of my life and is one of the reasons I started writing Forging our own destinies. I pray that I will plant some small seed in all your hearts as you read this story.

Currently I'm taking a break from it as due to the recent Transformer film, I got a whole new idea that needed to be implemented so I'm focusing on More than meets the eye.

2) More than meets the eye - Yup, I crossovered Ranma and Transformers. And guess what? Ranma is NOT the main character! This was a challenge I wanted to take, especially when Michael Bay screwed up in more ways than I can count in the movie, so I'm rewriting the storyline with a Ranma setting.

Trust me, I know most of the movie faults. In addition to being a more or less hardcore Transformer fan since 1987, I watched the film 4 times.
