Well you know what they say, you wait ages for one...
Yep,
I have fallen into the trap of having two stories on the go at the same
time. Winding River will be my top priority until I finally get
it finished. The other story is just a bit of fun to release some
of the obsessive hormonal juices that I get from too many thoughts
about Hugh Laurie and David Tennant. I admit that I only have the
sketchyest of plots for that one, it's really just an excuse to play
with some fun characters. If anyone has any suggestsions for
novel twists or unusual direstions they think would work do PLEASE let
me know. Otherwise I'll just bumble along in vaguely parallel
lines to the Christmas Invasion episode.

Well, I am really cr@p aren't
I! That little break from writing turned into a complete breakdown! I
have now crept back sheepishly into the Fanfic fold and hope that I
haven't lost all of my hardearned fans as well as my inspiration and
self respect. I am picking up Winding River again and give you my
solemn vow that it will be completed (if anyone still cares!). I
feel really bad now for cursing all of those authors whose stories I
was reading who wandered off. Curse that real life stuff!
I'm
expecting to complete WR soon and have a couple of other projects in
mind so please watch this space if you want to see more (and don't hate
me too much for being so slow!)

I'm really sorry to everyone who is
getting impatient for an update on Winding River. I am currently
working all the hours of the day and most of the night to complete my
Master's disseratation that is due in in 3 weeks. It's going to
be a very tight deadline and if I took any time off to do fun stuff
like eat, sleep or write I'm going to fail my degree.
I
promise that I WILL get back to my story as soon as this project is
finished, and will continue updating every few days until it is
complete (I have a glut of creative enrgy just waiting for a release).
Just
wanted to reassure people that I'm not one of those people who start a
story never to be heard from again. This story does have an
ending. I know what it is and I just need a bit of time to write
it!
Hi Everyone!
I am a long term
Fanfiction addict. It's a wonderful way to avoid my University work!
Now I have finally come out from the shadows I find it's a lot easier
to give constructive critism on other people's stories than to write
the ruddy things yourself!
I've only got the one story under
construction at the moment so will hopefully be updating fairly
regularly (real life permitting) as I have it all planned out in my
head and if I don't get it down I believe I'll go crazy (more so!).
I
genuinely do want to hear what people think, so all constructive
criticism is greatfully recieved, the more detailed the better (and I'm
open to changing things if someone points out faults or possible
improvements), as well as praise, which of course is always nice for my
battered ego!
Personal Details:
I'm 27, live in the
UK and at present am trying depserately to escape the country to go and
work in the depths of the Amazon Rainforest, which I love. To make
myself more employable I'm attempting to complete a Masters in Animal
Science, when I'm not being distracted by Fanfics! I'm a fan of most
crossover stories, especially Buffy fanfics, as I just love seeing a
successful melding of two 'verses. I'm not fond of crossovers that
involve more than two sources, as things tend to get cluttered and
confusing. Plus, I get really irritated by spelling and grammar
mistakes as they break the flow of a story (but I do know how sneaky
that bad-spelling gnome is!).
P.S. I'm single and a true sci-fi geek. If there are other geeks out there who want a pen-pal, I'm always up for a chat!
