... I thought I'd done a profile. Obviously not since I find myself trying to update a blank space. Oh well.

...Ssso, some fascinating (??) facts about me:

- French. Living in the UK. Married a native (well, not quite native:)) and very happy, too.

- Full-time mother to Toby, aged 5

- Full-time domestic helper to Gizmo (4) and Jack (5). Gizmo and Jack are cats, and therefore my bosses.

(Gizmo is in fact an alien in cat guise in an undercover study mission on Earth. How do we know this? He sometimes slips up, for instance: developing a liking for Thai sauce, being obsessed with drinking water out of a glass, and actually quite liking being wet. We think he missed a few pages out of his briefing guide.)

I really like writing, but find myself not doing quite as much as I'd like, due to (a) chronic health problems and (b) frequent interruptions (Muuuuum!!). I also paint (same issues as writing)

Favourites: Card Captor Sakura, Gokusen live drama (didn't like the manga much, though comparing both is interesting), Jane Austen, Tolkien, Angela Carter, fairy tales... and The People's Friend... And - how could I forget? - Lady Chatterley's Lover. Flawed, but fabulous.

I've had around 300 hits on my latest one and only 4 reviews so far (thank you, thank you, thank you :))) Obviously compliments are great, but honesty is essential and constructive criticism, pointing out mistakes etc. is very useful. The one thing I won't have is flames because they are just rude and there can be no excuse for rudeness.

It feels so good to actually have feedback on my work... and given how tough things get at times I can really do with the encouragement. You don't have to write pages, just one word will do. Honest. So please...
