Author has written 5 stories for Harry Potter. I love the Harry Potter world, both canon and fanfic. I am mostly a slash writer/reader, though well written het or "daddy" (Daddy Severus, Daddy Remus, Daddy Sirius) are great too. I even like the cliche...deaging, Harry meets Maurauders, Oops Draco (or Severus) and Harry are accidently bonded...as long as they are written well and with thought. Pet peeves (Peeves? put away the water balloons!): People who don't look up information. Example, they down a bottle of veritaserum instead of just a few drops. Or when someone "sees/smells" veritaserum described a clear, odorless, tasteless. Or when they come up with spells and such for why Lily saved Harry, instead of reading the interviews given by JKR that explain it. Why spend so much time writing a good story only to waste it on the easy details? Hmm, myself, I am a 33 year old female. Married, no kids, two cats (Tiger and Lily) one dog (Peanut ). Oh, and I am American, with a DVD collection of British tv/movies that would make most people envious. So I have an interesting mix of British and Americanisms in my writing, even when not writing British characters. My favorites listings ONLY include stories that are finished. If it isn't complete, it won't be listed. Some of them do not actually have the story closed (when reading the description, it doesn't show complete) but when you read the tale, it has a "The End" or Epilogue or some sort of closing. | |||||||
