I like spring and autumn. I hate summer and winter. I love, love, love anime. I hate all things mathematical and scientific, so if there's a flaw in my logic, maths or science, do not hesitate to assume I am at fault.

I'm nineteen years old. Ooh, getting old now. Currently at university doing English things with English.

I don't know, I guess I'm typically described as eccentric. That's cool. I fully intend to grow up to be a cat lady anyway, one of those old people who wear shopping bags on their heads and wear cats like coats.

It's extremely uncool to admit I love Disney, but my God I do. Current obsession is Princess and the Frog. I adore you, Tiana.

Harry Potter is, inevitably and awesomely, my favourite book series. Favourite character is Luna, says a lot about me, really.

I also adore Naruto, ridiculous amounts. Slightly less so now after the Sasuke debacle and Sakura's grand depowerment, but I still love the old manga/anime with the fire of a thousand suns. Favourite characters sorted into categories: Underdogs: Naruto, Hinata, Lee. Geniuses: Shikamaru, Sakura, Neji. Badasses: Kakashi, Anko, Gaara.

Unashamedly fond of young adult literature, cursed with a love of all things Sarra Manning. Only one bad book in her whole collection, in my opinion.

Am English, by the way. Very English. Hideously posh. Stereotypically so, despite hating that particular stereotype.

Infected with the bookworm bug. Always have about six books on the go, horrible habit of buying books and forgetting about them, once had more books than could physically move into another house.

Also an atheist. Not fashionably so, but still, the antithesis of a theist.

Major obsession currently is obviously Sakura, but Hinata is certainly catching up as she grows more and more awesome.

You might have noticed I have deleted several stories. I deleted the ones I would never, ever update and the ones that I truly despise, given that they are terribly written. My sincere apologies to anyone who wanted me to keep them up :(

My name is Katie, not Kate. I do not like tea or coffee. This is the year I turn twenty! I have social anxiety disorder and oddly large feet. I have three favourite animals, 1) Quokka. Yes, it's obscure XD I just like their happy faces. 2) Tapir. They are perfection wrapped in an animal package. 3) Foxes. I love foxes more than chocolate, and that's saying something. I do not like sour or spicy things! I like sweet, mild treats :)

I pretty much like most music that I've come across :D VERY fond of vocaloids, particularly Luka. I like ballads with ridiculously long notes at the end. I like the smell of vanilla and honey! I most often smell floral, because that's my favourite variety of perfume. I love anime too much to even describe, but I shall mention where the obsession began - DIGIMON.I adored Digimon as a child! Then Cardcaptors and Sailor Moon, etc, and the rest is history. My favourite Avenger is Captain America, NOT because of his good looks, but because he is a genuinely nice guy, a rare thing in action movies. I very much enjoyed his origin movie. My favourite kind of video game is RPG, particularly for the social elements. Persona 4 the Golden is my favourite game of all time. My favourite superhero is a tie between Batwoman and Miles Morales.

ULTIMATE OTPS (never sink these ships!):

Kuronuma Sawako and Kazehaya Shota (from Kimi ni Todoke) - the single most adorable couple on the planet. So many misunderstandings, so many cute moments between the two, all built up to make me fervently wish they would just get together already.

Harry Potter and Luna Lovegood - hear me out, folks. I know it isn't canon! But this couple has always struck a chord in me. They have both lost people. They both know how it feels to be an outcast. Luna has been Harry's supporter from day one. Potty and Loony, the champions of being different from the rest! :)

Tsukishima Shizuku and Amasawa Seiji (from Whisper of the Heart) - Something about these two clicked with me right away. I wanted them to get together from literally the first glance. I love how their relationship has teasing elements and how they challenge each other to help themselves both grow. Super cute.

Tiana and Prince Naveen (From The Princess and the Frog) - oh boy. Opposites attract! Tiana is hard-working, uncomplaining, dirt-poor woman with nothing but a big dream. Naveen is a shallow, spoiled little prince in an 'ivory tower,' who has never had to work for anything in his life. Their dynamic is so fun and interesting to watch! Considering how some relationships in previous Disney films can feel a little flat and underdeveloped, this one was believable and a joy to watch. Ma Belle Evangeline.

Zuko and Sokka (from Avatar: The Legend of Aang) - OK, I don't know what it is about this series, but I have a very bad habit of liking weird pairings from it! (KorraxTahno, TophxZuko, AzulaxTy Lee, etc...) I like the parallels between the two of them, water and fire, moon and sun, tribal and royal, etc, and whilst I know all of these things also apply to Zutara as well, for some reason I prefer Zukka! I think it's the potential for Sokka's sarcastic nature to clash with Zuko's serious, stoic personality.

Uchiha Itachi and Haruno Sakura - Number one OTP! This is a very recent development, I used to like Sakura with practically every character out there (except for Naruto and Lee), but lately I keep returning to ItaSaku (though in truth, GaaSaku is a VERY close second). I was once a massive SasuSaku shipper, I couldn't bear to ship either of them with anyone but each other, but now... not so much. From the first episode they were together onscreen, I supported Sakura's unrequited love, desperately searching every interaction between the two to see if there was anything shippy. Then, Sasuke broke her heart and I just felt that whilst Sakura deserved to have her love recognised and valued, Sasuke himself did not deserve it. Then along came ItaSaku fics! And Itachi was a gentleman (in most of them), serious and masculine contrasting with Sakura's playful, girlish nature, and there was a delicious conflict of Sakura's past/present love for Sasuke. And the rest is history ;)

Honourable Mentions - NaruHina - A sunny, happy pairing with lots of heartwarming, tearjerking moments. KyoTama - Mother and Father, perfect pairing from Ouran Host Club. Sakura and Syaoran, the very first couple I ever shipped. Soulmates in every sense of the word.
