Remembering to Live: I am thinking about re-writing Remebering to Live. Let me know what you think. The early chapters aren't very good at all so that's probably what I am going to do. There should be an update very soon! I know, "Another long wait Emmy??" But its coming! This one is hard to write! That and I'm working on 3 other fics (see below). That and, I just haven't done it. There is a summary of the three fics right here:

Hanging on Hope- (One year after HBP)“It’s okay, Hermione. I won’t leave you,” Ron whispered as he held onto Hermione’s limp hand. Harry watched silently as they were lead away into the ward leaving him to fight his solo battle...

Ginny tried her best not to wince from the pain in her hand as Tonks fought her way through her 16th hour of labor. Healer Lyra was giving her a pep talk, trying to get her to push one more time.

“And we have a baby!” exclaimed the Healer. Tonks let out a cry of relief as she slumped back onto the pillows. Remus was beaming at the squirming infant with an enormous sense of pride clear on his face while he held tightly to his wife's hand. Things were starting to look up for once...

“It’s all your fault, Harry. You are the reason for all of this…” Harry’s heart was pounding against his rib cage and his breathing was becoming shallow.

“Y-you’re lying!” he exclaimed, trying to convince himself more than the despicable character in front of him. He wanted revenge for the lives Voldemort had taken from him. Too many people were gone. But the taunts coming from Voldemort were cutting deep and he felt like letting go.

"If it wasn't for you, no one would have to be fighting here. It's your fault their dead. It's your fault, Harry..."

Years with Lavender: Renaye’s tale

(placed 17 years after Hogwarts)

Renaye was fuming. Her mother was sitting there bawling her eyes out like she had taken every blow. As if she had shielded her daughter from his hand. As if she had tried to stop it! How dare she pretend that she was a victim! She had been the one saying ‘It’s all out of love, Renaye! He’s trying to protect us, don’t you see?’ Come on, who did she think she was kidding? They got these bruises from a deranged maniac, hungry for power.

"Oh my God, shut up!” Renaye whirled around. She had finally lost her temper. She wasn’t standing for this another second.

“Don’t sit there and pretend like you did everything you could to get out! What about the times Brett was at the bar? We could have gotten out then! But no, you insisted it was all out of love and that he was trying to protect us! How stupid can you be?”

“Raye!” Lily exclaimed from beside her. Renaye ignored her. Lily may be her best friend, but she doesn’t understand this. She felt the tears beginning to prick at her eyes. It was so tempting to just turn and bolt out of the Potter's front door.

“You’re acting like you tried to protect me and that you were a good mother! You have never been a mother to me!” She shouted, blinking furiously against the tears. Renaye was though with her. She wanted out of that door. Taking the final blow she whispered,

“I was a mistake. And that’s all I have ever been to you.”

The Unsinkable Ship

-Based off of Titanic the movie.

It's amazing how much a few feet could impact a life. What would happen if the Titanic was a few feet farther that night?

"Look, Rose!" said Jack, pointing to the enormous mass of ice. Rose gasped as the Titanic passed gracefully by the tall structure of ice that floated by them.

"Could you imagine if we had hit that?" She whispered to him. Jack put his arm around her and held her close. The warm feeling and stregnth of his arm made her feel protected and oblivious to the world.

"It couldn't sink this ship. Titanic's unsinkable, remember?" Rose nodded, still watching with wide eyes as the iceburg glided by, shrinking as it moved towards the horizon. Jack look over towards her and smiled to himself.

"You worry too much," he said kissing he top of her head. Rose broke her gaze with the burg and looked back towards him. His eyes met her's. A shiver went down her spine. Jack's eyes can do that to you.

Jack's mind was still up at the dock with Rose as he walked down the stairs to the third class floor. The smile refused to leave his face but he didn't try to banish it. He turned the corner towards his hall still happily oblivious to all that was around him. That is, until the click of a gun being loaded brought him crashing down to earth.

"Hello, Jack. What took you so long?"

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

Hey! I am a Harry Potter obssessed girl and proud of it! I absolutely cannot wait for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows! I have found a new obsession too. Pirates of the Caribbean! It has a great plot. Well...having Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp in it helps --drool--. Though it is, admittedly, distracting... Another obsession, Spiderman! Oh my God... Just, wow... Anyway, about Harry Potter stuff and...stuff.

The ships I sail: Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, Lupin/Tonks, Lily/James, Cedric/Cho, and Neville/Luna. I love those ships...

The ships I sink: Harry/Hermione (no), Harry/Cho (never again), teacher/student ships (sorry but, can you say pedofile? I spelt that wrong...), incest (gag), I have read SOME slash and as long as it's well written I'm okay with it. The best ones I've read are Draco/Harry or Moony/Padfoot. The other ones...eh. But if you know some good ones let me know.

My Guilty Pleasure ships: Harry/OC, Fred/Hermione, Draco/Hermione, Ron/Luna, Katie/Oliver, Draco/Myrtle, (heehee), Draco/OC, Neville/Hermione, I read a Harry/Pansy one once and it was really good. I'll post the link soon..., Harry/Luna... and that's it.
