Author has written 4 stories for Transformers, and Transformers/Beast Wars. Now that I'm actually writing something, I desperately needed to update this darn thing. Few things about me: I jump from fandom to fandom, but have most recently made my home among Transformers. I'll read just about anything, except for really weird paings, and anything that has Megatron in a happy romantic relationship is enough to send me screaming for the hills -- especially if it's with Optimius. Sorry, I just don't see it in his personality. Speaking of which, regarding gender in TF...frankly, I've read so many views on that, I've just about thrown my hands up in the air and say 'just do what you like, but don't mess with the cannon.' Like Ironhide/Chromia. I don't mind if, say, Ironhide/Ratchet is a side pairing in your story, but with all do respect I'd prefer not to read anything where they're the main focus. My favorite Transformers are Bluestreak, the Lambo twins, Wheeljack, Jazz, and Starscream (the guys a walking set of contradictions, he's just so fascinating to watch). I've also become something of an Elita fangirl (which you can probably tell already from my fics - she's just so underappreciated for the kick-aft Military Commander she is!). I tend to be leery of OC's (which is ironic because my first story is OC centric), but I don't mind them if they're meant to advance the plot and aren't soley designed to fall in love with a cannon character and ease away their angst with love. 'Cause, honestly, the real world don't work like that. When it comes to writing - and reading - I favor stories that focus on character development and interrelationships. I enjoy an epic adventure as much as the next person, but I feel that characters are the most imporant part of any story. I will happily forgive plot holes to loose a gestalt in, if the writer can make me care what happens to the characters. I'm 22 years old but still haven't grown up, am of mixed heritage, and spent most of my life living over seas, inspite of which I only speak English (though I am working on ASL). Sept. 18, '09 I'm about to embark on an ambitious project for myself: I'm going to attempt to write two stories - "Little Brother" and "The Sum of Our Parts" - at the same time, switching off when I'm feeling drained or hitting a writers block by one or the other. Don't worry, "Elita One, 28 Times" will continue to be updated in the middle of all this. Three stories going on at once. I feel so prolific. =_= For "Little Brother" SQUEE! I have fanart! swoons. But yeah, Kiwimwi here at fanfic.net (or Firefly7727 at Deviantart, however you want to address her) drew up a picture of little Blue from Ch. 2, the one scene that everybody seems to like. Check it out nows and shower her with lots of praise and affection, please. For "The Sum of Our Parts" This story came into being because Bunny #17 decided it wanted to eat me. Warning: link takes you to the Transformers Bunny Farm. Enter with caution or be ready to loose several hours of your life to trolling. AXEL464 illustrated Ampere, Datum, and Freerun for me, and made them look fabulous. Be sure to shower her with lots of love and adoration. I've also got the undwatermarked version if you prefer, though it's a little small. For "Elita One, 28 Times" This is the single coolest piece of fan art I have ever seen of G1 Elita One (at least, I think it's G1). Just, imagine her like that when reading my stuff, m'kay? Fields of Heather wrote a one-shot continuation of "Playing with Kids" with her character Sneakthief. Check it out here. Flameshield wrote a "Naughty" one-shot from the point view of her character Aqua. "Transforming" was inspired by this picture, by Ty-Chou. Be sure to check out the rest of her gallery, especially her comics (because she's a freakin' comic genius). For "To Protect What Is Precious" Transformergirl on deviantart.com (also known as Lnzy1 right here on fanfiction.net) has kindly illustrated Nolan and Aine. Check them out here. If you like, you can also take a gander at the sketch. Part of my inspiration to write this story was seeing BlackSirius' wonderful rendition of a Movie-Verse Elita One.
