Summary: Hermione cannot wait to go to Hogwarts to finish her 7th year, though Harry and Ron will not join her. Paralleling the ballet 'The Nutcracker', this story is a little AU fantasy featuring a strange Russian composer, Snape's ghost, and Christmas magic.

English: Hey. I'm an intellectually-minded 17-year-old writer from the States who also plays viola, violin, piano, and does a bunch of other stuff. I have been a fanfiction writer since before the 2000s (exact date unknown, as much of my work from then is long destroyed due to its despicable nature) and began originally with either Boxcar Children or Thomas the Tank Engine. Actually, it might have been both at the same time. I really can't remember. I also did Laura Ingalls Wilder fanfiction and Peter Pan as well, though I have only the smallest amount of work pertinent to either still in my handwritten collections.

(For the record, I have composed original fiction of a substantial quality since at least May 2001, when I wrote a short story based on a dream that somewhat predicted 9/11, but I don't like to post original very often. I'm still nervous about it, despite my success in fanfiction thus far.)

My fanfiction page was begun in February 2006, when I first started my serious fanfiction-writing 'career' in the Harry Potter genre. Hence, I do not recommend reading the bottom of the page unless you merely want to see how much I have developed since then. That's not to say my first work was entirely my worst; there are some very strange things in the middle and near the top as well. However, if you're looking for a demonstration of my best work, you'll be wanting to look near the top of the page.

A Few Challenges . . .
Tell me if you use one of these and post it. I promise to read and review it!

Snapeless in Sainsbury(or some other location that makes the title an alliteration): A playoff of Sleepless in Seattle. I don't care what pairing it is; Hermione, Harry, OC, Lucius, Draco, Voldemort, Dumbledore, one of Aberforth's goats . . . just style it after the movie/book, where Snape somehow gets on the wireless/radio and someone falls in love with just his voice, then sets out to find him. Happy ending or depressing ending, doesn't matter. Must be plenty of Snape in it, though.

What Goes On in the Love Room: The Love Room in the Department of Mysteries. Snape gets involved in the 'experiments' that take place there. Pairing does not matter; again, for all I care, it could be Aberforth's goat. And then Aberforth could burst in and demand for Fluffy to come back to him. Haha.

The Best Way To Kill Mad-Eye: Have you ever wondered what would happen to Mad-Eye Moody if someone showed his lovely big glass eye to a basilisk? Intriguing ellipses . . .

Blind Dude Kills Basilisk: While we're on the subject of basilisks, what would happen if some blind guy were confronted with one? The blind dude could be someone canon, or not. It would be funny if it were somebody like Slughorn. Or Dumbledore? Hm.

Victor Hugo Meets Phantom: If you've ever read Les Miserables, by Victor Hugo, you likely know that he wrote a long and rather unnecessary treatise on the sewers of Paris. This may bring us to wonder: did he actually go exploring in them? Possibly. But who else dwelled underground at roughly the same time? Erik the Opera Ghost/Phantom of the Opera! I'd love to see something where either they meet, or they find evidence of the other's being in there. I see Erik as like chasing Victor Hugo, lurking in the shadows, etc. and then pubjab-lassoing him and saying something to the accord of 'what are you doing here' and Hugo replies 'researching for a book' and then Hugo goes on an unabridged analysis of what he's found in the sewers, and Erik listens, and they just have a nice long conversation. I think it would be a hit for a short-story, or maybe even longer.
