Hey there! I'm RowanJade (aka Ro). I'm an old fogey that's been around to see all of the classics become classics and I love it, love it, love it all.
I like to read and write fanfics that are worth reading. I'm partial to Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate (primarily Atlantis but I love SG-1 too), CSI, 24, Alias, Smallville, Supernatural, LOST, Harry Potter, and about a kajillion authors.
My fics are unique to say the least. I've been known to respond to challenges from friends such as "Write a fic about how the Star Wars pilots are actually kinky behind closed doors". And behold you get the Devil's Playground series from that.
My current obsession is Battlestar Galactica and I've written and excessively long piece about Lee/Apollo's background and life before the attack that will eventually be posted. Now I'm working on short pieces that deal with individual characters.
So anything you wanna know just ask. I'm a feedback junkie and I love comments and criticism. Normally they give me lots of things to think about and they make the bunnies hop so it's all good.

As for my own characters, if you really want to use them, go ahead. I don't have any of them copyrighted so they're free to be used and abused (Gods know I do it enough). Just please give me a bit of credit for the general make up of them. Thanks!
