Author has written 22 stories for Harry Potter, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Angel, X-overs, Charmed, Dead Zone, Quantum Leap, Friends, CSI, and Supernatural. CHRISTMAS ELF CHALLENGE Think The Santa Clause starring Tim Allen when I say Elf. They used children of various ages to give them a more realistic look. You can choose your fandom/character but I'd prefer you use Harry Potter - in my mind he just seems to fit best. Your character is a Christmas Elf. They've served faithfully for many generations and it's been decided (by them or someone else) they are ready for a vacation. Vacation for Elves is a human lifetime - life to death? You choose whether they get to remember their Elven lifetime or not. You can write a full story/ficlet, drabble (series?) as long as it's posted before (or on) Christmas. It must have at least a semi-happy ending ... I think friends/family would be sad to see them go, after all. Slash, Het, Gen - everything is accepted. Let me know if you take up this challenge so I can put your name up and direct others to read your fic. 11/25/09: As of right now all my stories are on hold (which really sucks as my muse has returned from vacation and has been banging on my door). Have no fear, I'm not abandoning them. I'm just going to be terribly busy. Christmas is coming and I'm making gifts this year. I've got two clay sculptures and a 'Baby's First' tree ornament, a colored pencil portrait, two iron on patches for a zipper front hoodie (front and back), and some jewelery/necklace charms to make - plus any other gifts needed. There's also some baking (cookies and a cake) that I want to send to my dad, step-mom, and my half-brother and sister ... in time to be Christmas gifts. I've put it off much too long and now I'm going to have to rush. That's never fun! There will be very little time for anything much less time to sit down and write. I'll more than likely have everything finished and be well rested and ready to begin writing again in the new year. So, until then. Happy Thanksgiving, Happy Holidays/Merry Christmas, and have a safe and happy New Year. Not much profile here which is a huge change but I didn't like how cluttered and long it had gotten so only the bare basics remain. Just a warning: My muse is easily seduced by every bunny that bats its eyes at her, that in turn makes me a horrible updater. I'm forever writing new stories and very rarely do I get the chance to go back and update older stories. They are not abandoned!! It will just take a little tempting to get the next chapter written, so hang in there. If I ever decide to abandon a story I will let you know and I'll more than likely put it up for adoption ... even then there's a chance I'll come back months or years later and update it or even rewrite the whole thing.
