Author has written 35 stories for Phantom of the Opera, Misc. Movies, Producers, Les Miserables, and Office.

Hey there! I'm PhantomBialystock (PB, Bialy, or Phantom for short), and this is the wonderful world of my profile!

About Me:

I'm a high school student with a passion for theatre. I'm always involved with some type of production, and when I'm not, I go crazy. For the most part, I'm not a performer and work on tech (which I'm not great at either), but I do enjoy acting sometimes. My goal is to be a professional director, producer, or maybe even a lighting designer. I know it's tough work, but if I can't imagine a life without pursuing it.

When I'm not attending rehearsal or working on a show, I'm usually reading, writing, watching movies, or sometimes drawing.

My Writing:

I've been writing since I could pick up a crayon. Now that I think of it, even then I was writing what could technically be called fan fiction! I didn't start taking my fics seriously until I joined this site when I was twelve, though. I write both fan fics and original works, mostly short stories. Writing is really just a hobby for me, but I do like to improve and strive to do my best with everything I create.

For the most part, I write short stories or ones with just a few chapters. I've found that when I write anything long, I quickly lost interest, and I'm better with shorter, more compact writing.

Fandoms:

My main ones are the musical The Producers and the musical/book The Phantom of the Opera. I don't write much for Phantom anymore. My total obsession with it back when I was twelve sort of killed it for me after awhile, but sometimes I do come up with a short fic. I still love The Producers, though, and write fics for it on a regular basis, even if I don't post all of them. Fortunately I never went through a stage where I was too obsessed with it, so I haven't burnt out. Not to mention, it's just a better musical than Phantom.

Pairings:

For Phantom, it's Raoul/Christine all the way. Sure, I love Erik, but I think Raoul is the more sensible choice for Christine, and they are truly in love. Unless you count the new sequel Love Never Dies, but I usually choose to forget about that abomination to Leroux's characters.

With The Producers, I love all the cannon couples - Roger/Carmen and Leo/Ulla - but I also like Max/Leo. Usually I despise slash, but I like this one because under the right circumstances, I believe it could work. I have an extensive theory on their relationship which I'll spare you the details of, but I believe that their relationship is right on the border between best friends and romantic partners, and could tip-toe its way across. A lot of my fics look at the relationship between the two, even if it's not the main focus of the story, and many do involved Max/Leo. Sometimes it's implied, and other times it's more blatant.

Taxi!:

Deleted because I lost all inspiration for it and was never going to pick it up again. The first one was deleted as well because it had so many plot holes and I felt embarrassed to have it under my account. I'm sorry to anyone who enjoyed it.

My Icon:

Yes, I know the lyrics are wrong. They're from the song You May Be Right by Billy Joel, and the words are, "It just may be a lunatic you're looking for." I have it as "I just may be the lunatic you're looking for." By the time I realized this, photoshop wouldn't let me edit it, so the lyrics are off. I liked the icon enough to use it anyway.

Beta Reading:

I do beta read people's fics, but only if they're Phantom or Producers related since that's my forte. Just PM if you need a beta reader.

Old Writing:

Some of it is still here, although for the most part my old stuff has been deleted. I suggest not reading anything that was written prior to 2008 except for my Producers stuff if you want to read my better writing, but if you must, go ahead.

Currently In the Works:

Producers short stories - I have tons of ideas for short fics floating around in my head, so expect to see some posted!
