Author has written 19 stories for Pokémon, Burst Angel, Fullmetal Alchemist, Rurouni Kenshin, Negima! Magister Negi Magi/魔法先生ネギま！, Hidamari Sketch, and Tsubasa Chronicle. I write. Occasionally, my life gets in the way. Myself: Human. Female. Adult. Likes ladies. Cynical but improbably romantic. Possessed at times by creative fervour, usually only when it is most inappropriate. Fiercely independent yet almost pathetic when lonely. Mature and immature in alternation. Utterly dependent on words. Locked in the literature loop, and not entirely certain of the possibility of escape. Very, very much in love (this is the important part). Intends to make an honest woman of the girlfriend (the muse) when the law permits, and possibly even before then. Loves brackets, italics and run on sentences. Has a lust for books, paper and folders. Likes filing things. Of the age of majority by Australia's standards, and legally allowed to do all the good stuff. Does not own a car. Speaks japanese (badly), and owns enough manga to make bookcases groan in protest. Watches far too much anime. University graduate. Employed full-time. Suffers sporadic bouts of repetitive strain injury in writing hand. Loves the smell of mint leaves. Winter is the best season. Once owned a pair of pet rats. Afraid of zombies. My writing: Declared spellcheck to be the root of all evil in '02 for renaming known and loved characters. Proud owner of Shimmery Aoshi, Canoe Konoka and nospellingoption Setsuna. Intends to adopt Mariachi Misao and Samba Sano upon opening a dance studio. Kagurazaka Sauna can be found lurking in the steamed-out bathroom, and Chimera Kenshin in the woods out the back. Reads a lot. A lot. A stupid amount, not all of it officially published. Which, in turn, increases desire to write... which increases desire to read... which increases desire to write. Limited by time but not imagination. Would like to write a book one day. Probably won't. Hopes all the same. Writes in various fandoms, reads in even more. Ships according to the heart, not the brain. Has favourites but has been known to read outside of them from time to time if well-written. Believes in love and the power of subtext. Tends to wax lyrical, and use overblown imagery (purple was always a favourite colour). Uses Australian English for obvious reasons.
