So like... I think I fell four stories out of the CSI fandom during the writer's strike. And that sucks major. I've got two stories brewing in my head - both are a continuation of fics already posted. Question is, will I be able to finish them before I decide to give up on CSI all together? Don't get me wrong - GSR will always be a wonderful and beautiful ship that I hope I can continue writing. It's just the show in general that I can't seem to care about anymore.

I've been thinking of hopping fandoms and trying out Bones for a few stories - if I could only wrap my brain around Booth's character and how Bones interacts with him. Because I love love LOVE those two soooo much. I just wish I could unkink my brain and figure out how to write them without being OOC. I've TRIED and FAILED many times. lol. Maybe I'll post the next one, and then you'll see what I'm talking about. And maybe they're not as OOC as I think they are. Bones fanfics seem to be hard to write for everyone. I've only found a few authors that really nailed them. And I 'm jealous major. lol.
And I've also decided recently that I'm going to try and write X-files (MSR) fanfics. Which shouldn't be too difficult seeing as how the MSR relationship and the show in general has been a staple in my life since I was 8 years old. lol. I've never attempted it before... to be honest, I was always a little intimidated by the awesome author's out there already doing XF fanfics and insecure in my ability to get anywhere near their caliber of writing. But I can't know until I try. Right? I mean really. Go back and read the mess that was my first CSI fic.

I have been writing for a good part of my life. Random stories and poems. So therefore, I know the value of input from readers. If there is something blaringly obvious I'm doing wrong - someone should tell me. It is the only way to get better. I don't consider constructive criticism to be flaming. So seriously. Please TELL me?
