Author has written 3 stories for Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Les Miserables.

My need to do something else other than the something I should be doing, has led me to write a load of twaddle that no one cares about in the form of a conventional profile page on fanfic net.

Let's see, I'm a maths and economics student, which means I spend half my time trying to get my brain cells to do calculus, the other half drinking in order for my brain to forget calculus. It works nicely. While I'm not battling maths, I do rather like writing, which occassionally leads me here to read and, once in a blue and purple spotted moon, post fic of my own. I'm rather a fandom dabbler, I don't attach myself too strongly to one in particular. Although, that said, I do seem to have become somewhat of a Victor Hugo fan girl of late.

BLOG: http://jackks.livejournal.com/ - feel free to friend me and whatever.

FICTION PRESS: http://www.fictionpress.com/u/666759/Scorpicus - albeit there exists only a few, rather over long, poems on my account.

To surrender to convention, I should at this point start making redundent lists of favourite things.

List of Miscellaneous Things I Adore: Pizza; Placebo; Pulp; Pink Floyd; old school Disney movies; Nineteen Eighty Four; cheap flights, liquorice; Catch 22; Notre-Dame de Paris, Harry Potter (specifically 3rd and 6th); Shakesperian tragedies; The Wickerman (the original), cocktails, London, Milan; Strange Days; As Good as it Gets, conversation, drunkeness; Turkish Delight; equal oppurtunities, Globalisation, tea; cheese and biscuits; The Shining; A Clockwork Orange; Green Day; team sports; AC Milan; Grim Fandango; Silent Hill (specifically 2); Prince of Persia; Lemmings; sleazy nightclubs; lesbian poetry; speaking ones mind, poker, Drum and Bass, Dickens, chess; city life; equal amounts of male and female nudity in films, Fightstar, Muse, theatre; Taxi Driver, individualism; Midnight express, hats, belts; Fight Club; The Rocky Horror Picture Show, sushi, waistcoats; crappy mobile phones; the EU, debate, IPods, laptops; underground radio stations; the concept of "responsibility for ones own life", all things quaintly amusing and Marylin Manson.

List of Miscellaneous Things I Intensely Dislike: Anti-smoking campaigns; most things main stream; Continental European pop music; National pride, beauracracy; prostitutes who make use of the bushes outside my dormitory; being allergic to strawberries, Twilight; the notion that "we are all the same"; chick flicks; right wing politics; excessive capitalism, Italian drivers; the underground system closing at midnight; Costa, Starbucks; mind numming TV advertising; the class system; my cleaning lady; magazines aimed at teenage girls; The Wickerman (the remake); Monopolisation of the film industry by Hollywood; Accounting lectures; The Killers; The Dark Knight; all "holy" books; proccessed coconut; American fast food employees who can't understand my accent; bank statements; inflexible computer systems; political correctness; the concept of marriage; gender roles and stereotypes; the notion of "returning to traditional values"; having to vote for a political party I don't particulaly agree with in order to keep the other one out; film versions of Phantom of the Opera, corruption; the newspaper industry and most of all fanfic written.
