posted stories:

"To Disembark" - High School Musical - Troy/Ryan - Oneshot -This is my pride and joy! It was my first fanfic on this site, so be gentle. Or, at the least, be careful what you say. This particular one has a soft spot inside me, and I will bitch you out brutally for flames (while also being highly amused). Enjoy, but makes sure you have some time when you sit down to read it. It's slightly long. I don't think you can call it a oneshot.

"Reflection of a Cracked Mirror" - High School Musical - Troy/Ryan - Oneshot - Shorter than the last one. This fic came from some serious PMS mixed with a sad song and a rainy day. Be warned that this deals with main character death, and I've also been told it's pretty upsetting? I do like this story, despite it's somewhat unoriginal plotline. Enjoy.

"Forever More" - High School Musical - Troy/Ryan - Oneshot - This is more of a drabble than anything. It balances out RoaCM. Established relationship and possible implications of Mpreg? I'm not really sure. It's just a ball of fluff. Enjoy, but make sure to brush your teeth after all the sweetness.

"Grasping at Actuality" High School Musical - Troy/Ryan - Oneshot - This is my second favorite because I tried to stay away from the cliche. The drama is directed away from the main characters and is rather...disturbing in some areas, but the end makes up for it. There is no graphic slash in this one, for those who are hesitant about clicking. It makes a good point, though. Enjoy!

"To Stumble" - High School Musical - Troy/Ryan - Complete - The sequel of "To Disembark". The aftermath of the kiss in school, homes, and the relationship. This story is in two parts, and I think it has a better effect if you read both at once. You can't call this a oneshot. It's freakin' long. Enjoy, of course.

"Exhibition, Baby!" - High School Musical - Troy/Ryan (implied) - Oneshot - A silly birthday fic for FallingWithGrace. Chad overhears things and his mind goes instantly to the gutter. Then again...whose doesn't?

a word to you:
Spell and grammar checks are indeed your friends. Use them. You would be surprised how many good stories are not read because the grammar is awful. There are very few that I will suffer through the mistakes to finish, much less review. Reviews are important to many people, so let me tell you that reviews will be that much better and complimentary if you spell "the" correctly. Everyone makes mistakes that they overlook, but I'm referring to the nonstop problems. If you're still unsure that you've revised your fic well, then ask someone else! There are betas (editors) all over the place. Don't be afraid to ask and don't be offended by their critique. I'll edit if you want me, no matter the pairing, plot, or rating. I'm completely unbiased in that area. Have faith in people. Don't embarrass yourself. Get better reviews! It's all positive, you know.

Also, do please do not put on your story's summary, "I'm not really good at summaries, just read anyway." If you can't even take a sentence from the story or sum it up into two sentences, then how can you expect a reader to be enthralled? Summaries are what draw people in. Your writing keeps them there, but the summary is crucial. Unless it's by an author I respect, I personally will NEVER read a story that says you aren't skilled enough at writing to make a simple sentence. Just take a quote if you must!

inspirational quotes:
"No matter what anyone tells you, words and ideas can change the world." - Dead Poet's Society.

"You must stay drunk on writing so reality cannot destroy you." - Ray Bradbury.

"The role of a writer is not to say what we all can say, but what we are unable to say." - Anais Nin.

"The difference between the right word and the almost right word is the difference between lightning and a lightning bug." - Mark Twain.

"The beautiful part of writing is that you don't have to get it right the first time, unlike, say, a brain surgeon." - Robert Cromier.
