What might you write about?
Transformers: The new movie has rekindled the old fan in me, and made it morph into an uncontrollable fangirl. (Oh dear...) I probably won't write cartoon based fics any time soon (I'd have trouble with characterization and events –it's been so long) but I am utterly in love with the movie and am making it a secret goal to see it once a week. I am all about Jazz (poor Jazz), Mikaela ( 3), Optimus Prime, SamxMikaela, and then Sam and Bumblebee friendship fics (and then SamxBumblebeexMikaela friendship fics).
DBZ: I tend to love the namek-jin in general. My favorite characters are Piccolo, Nail, Gohan, and Trunks (future timeline), so that might reflect. My favorite pairing is Goten/Trunks. For some reason or another, I have a penchant to add characters--particularly female ones.This is a habit I am attempting to break.
Naruto: When it comes to Naruto, I am a pairing WHORE. My two top couples are Naruto/Hinata and Sakura/Sasuke, although I do hold a place in my heart for Sakura/Lee. I also like Shikamaru/Temari, Ino/Chouji, and I've seen a cute Neji/TenTen fic or two, although TenTen's character is still a mystery to me, and Neji is not my most favorite character. My favorite characters are, however, Hinata, Sakura, Kakashi, Sasuke, Shikamaru, Jiraiya, Rock Lee...and I suppose I don't really dislike any character. Maybe Orochimaru (but that's only because he's such a good bad guy), and some disappointment in Sasuke.
Misc: I once wrote a one shot on Ayashi no Ceres, but that basically was a rewriting of a certain part in the first manga--I was trying to stretch my pen and see how it worked, but since then I haven't written anything other than Dragonball Z (and now Transformers). I was once thinking about writing a Kurama/Hiei (Yu Yu Hakusho) fic but I haven't seen the show in ages so...I probably won't.
Why do you write? To have fun, to release something I want to share, to gain support and maybe better my writing...but that's not why I write. Contrary to ff.net's new thoughts, not all of us are seasoned writers and not all of us want to become writers. On here I write for fun, reviews, friends, and...more fun. I admit that reviews are a lot of fun, but I won't slay you if you don't review, or if you fav something without reviewing.
On that note, fellow authors--I am able to find something enjoyable but often find I have nothing particular to say, so I often favorite things without reviewing. I apologize if this bothers you (I too love reviews) but that's just the way it is. Plus, if all you want is to know it was enjoyed, I believe my fav would speak quite nicely for itself _
