Stories
Between Days: My first, longest, and most successful fic. This is a story set in the Tenkuu no Escaflowne universe, taking place entirely during the last episode of the show. Seriously. I didn't plan for it to be as long as it is, nor for most of the things that happened in it. I just wanted to write a nice story about Van and Hitomi getting to have a brief relationship before she left, maybe with a little adventure thrown in, like them going to Zaibach and fetching Folken's body. Instead, I have an insane Sorcerer, the Ispano, Celena and her relationship with Dilandau, Hitomi doing something she really did not want to do, Merle growing up, Van telling Allen off, a ball, a bar fight, a kidnapping, drunk Allen, Dryden being Dryden, and THREE POINT FIVE different relationships. Hitomi/Van, Millerna/Dryden, Allen/Eries, Merle/OC mebbe sort of well at least he likes her. SO. If you read anything by me, read this, because it's long, it's epic, and people seem to like it okay. COMPLETE.

The Past and the Pending: This one is really close to my heart. It was my second fanfic, written about ten chapters into Between Days, and it's about Merle growing up post series. It's written as if it's a diary, which to Merle, it is. I wrote it because it's the kind of thing I've wanted to read ever since I saw the show. I felt that Merle, though she was wonderfully developed, was missing some portion of growing up. Giving up the person you love takes a lot of maturity. The working title was "A History of Love," until I read the book by the same name. Instead, I named it after the song that inspired it. COMPLETE.

What Made the World: Heh. Porn. I wrote it for the Zutarotica Summer Smut Fanfic Challenge (which should give you a hint as to the pairing), and won Mods' Choice! I still have a vague suspicion that they gave it to me because I was all sad I didn't get more reviews on the community, but hey, at least I sort of feel like someone likes me. :3 COMPLETE.

Her Name: I wrote this because of a sentence that didn't fit in my porn. It spiraled out of control, and became what is shaping up to be my second most popular story. I makes me sad to read it, because it's about Katara sacrificing her own feelings to make someone else happy, even though it's for someone she loves. There's all kinds of love, though. Canon compliant. One day I may write a sequel, but it needs to sit for a while. It'd take place post series. And hey, after the canon ends, anything goes. Katara/Zuko. COMPLETE.

Our Mothers' Names: Inspired by the Alice Walker quote I used as the epigraph. So far, it contains the final thoughts of Kya as she sacrifices herself for her daughter, and it will continue with Ursa's decision to kill Fire Lord Azulon. It may one day continue on with that, as I'm really uncertain as to where it's going. I don't expect it to get very popular, haha. May end up being Katara/Zuko. IN PROGRESS.
