Hm, what to put here...
Well: I'm a recent college graduate,
and some of my greatest joys in life are reading, writing and the net.
(Yeah, I'm one of THOSE.) Considering that, I suppose it was inevitable
that I would open an account here...
I usually write character-driven short stories, and like horrendously long sentences. Forgive me.
What else! Ah, maybe some fancy notes about my fanfictions to date:
"A Slight Prickling of the Fingerstips" is, as the summary
states, about Sousuke. Who he dreams about, however, is not clearly
stated, and I suppose I could simply let whoever may read it draw their
own conclusions. (I am a Chidori/Sagara fan, however, so of course this
is who I imagine this piece to be about. But if there are those out
there who happen to be fervent Tessa/Sagara fans, there shouldn't be
anything in this piece to ruin your fantasies, I think.) A point of irony about this piece: I had a correspondence with
Esoteria about my dislike for dream sequences as plot-propulsion, but I
would like to pre-empt any "DIE, HYPOCRITE" messages directed at me in
response to this story by noting that this piece has no plot
whatsoever. It's just an exercise that I wanted other people to read.
Praesidium is the written text of a doujinshi that I have been working on with a friend of mine for the last couple of years. It's based on the MMORPG (a.k.a. work-of-Satan) Ragnarok Online, and on the characters that we play and know. I should note that we've taken a few liberties with the game mechanics as we wanted the story to be more feasible, and less, how you say, "hax." As a novice writer, I'm not accustomed to writing long-form stories with multiple chapters, so this has been a very challenging exercise for me. I will be posting the chapters here in order to get some feedback on how I'm doing.
