wow, i Really should update this...

i really can't be bothered updating my age all the time anymore, so i'll give you the year i was born. 1986. a very nice number. i'm male, and live in New Zealand. there. very basic and profile worthy information :)

Vaguely important fact for those reading my fics: it has come to my attention that there is another season of Teen Titans after the last one shown free-to-air in New Zealand. i have never seen it. the last episode i have seen is probably the end of a season. the one where they finally finish off Trigon and save the world and so on. Trigon being the only part that distinguishes it from any other, i suppose. at any rate, i have not seen anything after that, so i have basically ignored any Cannon material after that point. apparently the next season mostly focuses on the Titans East anyway? so it shouldn't be too big a deal. but what do i know?

another fact relevant to my fics: in the "Last Exile" fic i got a lot of people's names wrong. i went back and watched it again. Every Time they Say what i typed or a close approximation of it. however, the subtitles often give rather different names, which Could have fit as easily. given how poorly the english subtitles often line up with the english sound track however, i wouldn't guarantee anything. so, that's just a heads up in case you find you don't recognize the characters. warning: the last exile fic is Really Bad. you can pretty much skip it so long as you remeber Chargone loses an eye in it... seriously, that's the only bit of any lasting relivance, near as i can remember. i haven't read the thing in... is it years yet? a very long time, anyway. sad no?

heh. just in case it doesn't show, i play trading card games quite a bit. update: well, Used to, before the card shop here abouts closed making opponants very difficult to find. I've got cards from all sorts of different games, and although some of them were invented, most of the cards that Zachius uses in the first two fics are from one of my collections or another, and a few are from collections belonging to people i know or knew.

old update for those ... few.. people who read my fics:

this update is obviously a waste of time as no one has read my fics in forever, never the less, i have some vague ideas bouncing around in my head, so i may write something new at some point. possibly abandon all the old cardomancy fics and start over? ... i just re-read Cardomancy and find myself enjoying it... appart from the fact that i horribly mangled the introduction of the deus ex machina element.

on the other hand, at least it wasn't the OC main character that suddenly became supper powerful and so on.. he was outright incapacitated at the time :P

New update to the preceding update: yeah, i suck. never did write any more. still like the idea, but i got no stories.

anyway: story order currently runs thusly:

1: Cardomancy pretty darn good over all. typographical errors and a poorly instituted deus ex machina detract from it's awesomeness.

2: Flight of the Cardomancer starts off good, varies, crap ending. justification: it explains why Zachius is down an eye in the next one update: ok, there is no excuse for this. were i prone to such attitudes, Sepuku would perhaps be the only way to expunge the shame attached to this one. none the less, i Did write it, so it's still there.

3: Card Magic Hunting incomplete, and discontinued. over all pretty good, but bogs down and grinds to a halt at the point of discontinuation. i have long since found that i'm a much better editor than i am a writer. though if anyone ever wants to do a joint project to get it up and running again, i wouldn't say no. unlikely as that is.
