Real name; Jennifer (Jen) or you may refer to me as Ami if you so choose. It's basically my internet alias, the name I've been using for years and I honestly like it better than my real name. Ami is Japanese for "friend" by the way ;D.

More About Me; Well, you should know I'm a HUGE anime/manga fan. I have drawers upon drawers full of the stuff and I'm always looking for new and interesting anime/manga to get engolfed in. My current obsession is Vampire Knight; I have read all 47 chapters of the manga and watched both full seasons of the anime. Also, going along with that; I obsess over anything Japanese. I just absolutely love Japanese food, culture, customs, clothing and the language. (It is beautiful, took me a few years but I can speak Japanese quite well now.) Someday when I get older and have the money to travel I'd LOVE to visit Japan. That in mind, obviously you'll find me reading/reviewing most likely in the anime/manga section of fanfiction. (Does not mean I don't read/review stories from other section, this is just where I like to hang out most.)

I don't write stories for fanfiction.net; might as well get that out there now so no one goes looking for any works of mine. I only browse summaries of stories and if I deem them as interesting or worth my time I'll read it and try to give the best feedback I can. It really annoys me when I see reviews that simply say "AWEZUM CHAPTUR KEP ET UP!11" I mean, that's nice and all but, how does that help the author to improve his/her story? Can you tell them why it's awesome and why they should keep writing said story? Reasons to back up statements is always more effective. That is why I attempt to make my reviews no less than a paragraph and do my best to explain to the author why I thought his/her story was awesome or not too great then I give my reasons why. Ultimately, it's their choice whether they listen to my advice or not; I'm just here to help.

Keeping what I previously said in mind, the kinds of stories I typically enjoy reading are romance/comedy; if it has anything else that's fine as long as one of those two or both are included. I do read stories occasionally that do not pertain to these genres; but mostly just when I'm bored and have nothing better to do.
