I have the remarkable 'talent' of being able to talk rather a lot while saying almost nothing at all. This, coupled with an array of masks and a personality so emotionally flighty that I can't even predict it, leads to a girl whose major defining trait is not really knowing just quite who she is. A girl both an optimist and a pessimist, Liberal and Socialist simultaneously (Freedom, tick, Free Market, not so sure), somebody capable and willing to listen to others but very hypocritical in that she won't talk about her own emotional baggage with others, or even to herself. She is fiercely loyal to those who take the time and effort to befriend her, to the point where she once beat somebody over the head with a plastic bottle in retaliation. Gently, of course...

I believe you can love two people at the same time, 'cause I've been there, done that, got the heartache to prove it. Nobody says it's easy, and it ain't. Love is difficult enough on its own, an' ya don't need other stuff providing extra confusion. Sometimes it's best to step away, decided what it is ya really want outta life. Even if that leads to even more more stuff pilling up on you. It gets better eventually, jus' so ya know.

...Somewhere in the past year, I have picked up the habit of slipping into accents far removed from my own. Sometimes even languages. ("Are you French?" "Non... I mean..." blush)

I play a childrens' card game. I'm proud of it. I love duelling with my friends, even if other people laugh or call you nerds. Mind you, I also perform tarot readings with my deck, having picked up the habit of trying to predict my fortune from Carly Nagisa of 5D's. Though it mostly relies on interpretation, I am scariliy accurate both in matters of my own future and those of my friends. Although the first time that I did it for somebody else, I had severe misgivings because those actions counteracted certain ethics of mine, I reason that as long at it is taken merely as guidance, it is mostly okay.

You may have noticed a lack of Yaoi/Yuri pairings up there. I admit that I am not a fan of these pairings, but have on occasion read them. Having three sisters who live, breath and sleep yaoi does that to you (Guresu-chan, Hei-chan and Raura-chan, you know I'm talking about you.) My stance is NON-yaoi, not ANTI-yaoi.

UPDATE: Having lost my USB pen, with an almost completed chapter of this story on it, progress will be even more interrupted than before. I either have to rewrite it, or find the pen. Both are looking to be rather bleak prospects...
