I’m a college student in England and have ME (which really does exist contrary to some medical opinion), a fantastic mum, an older brother who is my polar opposite (he's recently gone off to uni and the house is much quieter without him although his cat is pining) and 5 best friends who are fabulous! My favourite animals are ducks and I have hundreds of them in my bedroom (not real! lol!) You can’t see my bedroom for ducks and books!

I love reading and only write for my own personal amusement although occasionally ideas get finished and I think they are alright so I’ll post them – so far that inspiration only occurs very rarely.

I’m firmly stuck in Tamora Pierce fandom (largely Tortall) but I do make the occasional forays elsewhere. Recently I've been sucked into House MD. I try to review everything I read but I am hopeless at constructive criticism.

I'm a bear for proper spelling and grammar and find it annoying when people mix up the tenses. I dislike huge long paragraphs and no breaks between POV changes.

I hate prejudiced people, places that say they are wheelchair accessible that really aren’t and being treated like an idiot.

I am hopeless on computers and have only just mastered Word! I just got a new laptop with vista and can't figure out how to do half of the things it says on the box. I love solitaire and spider solitaire but very rarely win. I play Harvest Moon on my GBA-SP far too much interspersed with Sims 2 which is currently bugging me as it has a glitch I can’t get past! I now play Harvest Moon on my DS and PSP too which makes me a bit obsessed I guess! I love the PSP patapons game as well and sudoku game.

I listen to most kinds of music though I love Christian worship music the best and I hate music with unnecessary swearing in it. I love the song Affirmation by Savage Garden and anything Christmassy. I start playing Christmas music on Christmas Day and stop playing it on Christmas Eve of the next year much to the disgust of my brother!

I watch loads of programs on the TV but adore Vicar of Dibley and MASH. I love House also and Absolutely Fabulous. I just recently got hooked on Sue Thomas: F.B.EYE which is great as it shows deaf people being able to do jobs and live normally.

I think Disney make some of the greatest movies and fell in love with the film Billy Elliot the moment I watched it although my favourite film is Evita. I love all of Andrew Lloyd Webbers’ musicals but think some of his best work was done with Tim Rice. I was lucky enough to see Billy Elliot the Musical this year on stage and enjoyed it so much I bought the CD.

Tortall

I like Alanna the best and will read her in almost any fic where she isn’t too out of character. I fell in love with the next generation the moment they appeared in wild magic and think Kitten is cool.

I like both A/J and A/G but think that ultimately Alanna picked the right guy although I would love to read the original story where Alanna and Jon did end up together.

I read most any Tortall story that sounds interesting really.

House MD

I'm firmly hooked on House and Cameron and quite like Wilson/Cuddy as a sideline.

I'll read most fics that sound interesting.

I haven't seen the 5th series yet (it isn't out in the UK until the autumn) but hope they give Chase and Cameron more airtime than in season 4. I'm thinking of buying the box set as soon as I've saved up - I really want to see some of the first series episodes that I've missed.
