Hello, my lovelies! I am from the big, bold, ballsy state of Texas, y'all! I am a mother of 4 beautiful, talented, young people and I teach middle school science to hormonal teenagers. I have a degree in Biology and Kinesiology, and in addition to teaching science I used to coach volleyball, basketball and track. I have a dry sense of humor and love me some good sarcasm.

My life as I knew it changed forever when my oldest son handed me his girlfriend's copy of Twilight. I became instantly addicted to anything Edward and Bella. After I read the books multiple times and was waiting for the movie, I stumbled across the link to Boycotts and Barflies and the world of fanfiction beckoned to me, causing a new obsession to wash over my soul and pull me under. My kids just recently threatened to stage an intervention, lol. They're so funny. They also say "Mom, you're such a dork!" when I drool over any and all things RPattz. His sex on a stick gorgeous looks, to me, transcend all time, space and dimension.

So I read fanfiction til my eyes feel scratchy and blur and could audition for a Visine 'dry eyes' commercial. I post a ff review on a website called cafeMom with thousands upon thousands of members (google it), as a member of a group called "Fans of Stephenie Meyer and her Twilight Series" with over 5.600 members, under the forum called Fan Fiction and Writer's Corner!!

For all these years, since '08, I've been a fanfic reader extraordinaire and have reviewed and rec'd over 300 fics. Well...I took a deep breath and did something very ballsy for little ol' me. I entered The Heart of Country Contest! Not once, but TWICE!

Mud on the Tires

WON 1st place in the public vote for the Bless Her Heart Award (Sassiest Girl), and 1st place for Hay Ride Award (Best Lemon!) Hooray!

Hard to Love

Won 2nd place in the public vote for the Silver Spur Award (best use of prompts) and 2nd place in Gentlemen Wear White Award (Swooniest Guy!)

I'm considering extending them. I'm so new and unsure of this!
