Hello, I am Michiru Tenou and I have been at this game for quite a while now. I started writing fanfiction about my two favorite animes, Gundam Wing and Sailor Moon. Gundam Wing is the one that introduced me to the wonderful world of slash, and I have never looked back since that time. For a while, those were the only two fandoms I worked with. After the sixth Harry Potter book was released and it only took me two days to read it, I found that I needed something more to do with my time. That is what brought me into the world of Harry Potter fanfiction. I read canon pairings for a little while and then I ended up reading slash fanfiction and got into that, so another fandom was added to my list. After that, Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy were added to the list later, and South Park made an appearance after a friend challenged me to it. Now, I completely enjoy writing for each of these fandoms whenever I have the time to and it brings me great joy to see that there are others out there that enjoy reading what I have written as much as I enjoyed writing it. Writing is something that I have always used to express myself and better develop my own ideas. Finding a home within the fanfiction community has only helped to expand my horizons and bring a greater understand of my craft into my life. Simply put, I love to write and bring characters to life in their own stories. The best thing about fanfiction is that you can take characters that already existed and breathe an entirely new life into them, continuin the stories that may have been forgotten long ago. This is why I write and this is why I will continue to put my ideas into words for all to see.

I am always up to a challenge, so if there is something that you want to see written, feel free to pm me and ask about it. Give me the specifics of your challenge and I will work out the details and put something up whenever I have the chance. I love seeing if I can fit my writing within the confines of someone else's idea. There is always the chance that what you have requested for me will touch on something that squicks me or that I simply cannot find the words for. If you do have a request or a challenge to pose to me, remember that you may receive a denial to that request as there are some things that I just can't form into words. Either way, whether I choose to accept your challenge or not, you will be notified with my answer and a reason why or why not. Also be aware that I may come to you with questions about your request/challenge if the need be throughout the writing process. This does not mean that I will be submitting work to you for the beta process, it just means that I might need a nudge in the right direction every now and then.

Given the rules of fanfiction.net, all the stories you will find here are editted versions of the real thing to make sure they fall into the ratings confines that have been set forward in the rules of this lovely site. There are ways to find my work elsewhere and I post what I write anywhere I possibly have the chance. I love fanfiction.net, however, and have a certain sense of loyalty since this place has been my home and my gateway to the fanfiction universe from the very beginning. Rest assured that no matter how long I may seem to be inactive here, I will always be back and I will never leave the site that became my first fanfiction home.

I have now made myself available as a BETA reader for other authors. I decided to do so as I watched a steady decline in the fanfiction universe. It seems that people have forgotten why we do what we do, and I feel like fanfiction should be held to the same standards that original fiction is held to. I may sometimes be frank and harsh, but you can believe that I will be fair about my comments that I make on your stories. I don't always accept requests, but I try to update my BETA profile with a hiatus message when I am not taking any further requests from people. Check my BETA profile often in order to see if I am accepting requests at the time or not. If I have a hiatus message up, it is likely that I will take it down again as I really do enjoy helping other authors do what they need to do and get things done. Sending in a request while I have a hiatus/vacation message up will likely not end well. The request will be denied and there is a chance that I will deny any further requests from you after that. I don't want to do that, so please don't make me do that. If you are searching for a BETA, make sure you read my profile thoroughly before sending me a request to read for you.

As a final note, if you read one of my stories please leave a review. Reviews are better than Christmas presents for authors, and we love to hear what our fans have to say about the things we put up for you to read. We put a lot of work into making things just right for our readers and feedback is something that we all need. If the reviews are intelligent or ask legitimate questions, I try to respond as long as it won't give away too much of the plot I have planned. If the reviews are lacking substance, I still appreciate them, but I likely won't respond to them. In any case, if you read my story make sure you leave a little piece of yourself behind for me to read and enjoy after you have enjoyed my work. I will definitely appreciate the effort on your half.

There won't be many new things coming up for a while because I am working on editing and revamping my older fanfictions so they can reflect the things that I have learned as I've grown and progressed in my craft. The fanfictions will not be finished in any order. It will depend on what I feel like writing and when, but eventually they will all have new faces and a more developed story to draw readers into the words on the page. Once I am done with the face lifts on the existing fanfiction, I will begin writing new ones with fresh faces. Hopefully there will be a few of your challenges thrown in there as well. Remember that these are not the original versions of my fanfics. These have been edited in order to fit within the requirements of fanfiction.net. If you are interested in seeing the rest of my work, email me and I will point you in the right direction, but it is your responsibility to register with the sites I post on and pay attention to the TOS for each of those sites.
