Author has written 32 stories for One Life To Live, General Hospital, Halo, How I Met Your Mother, Castle, and Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. The RoosterTeeth/Red vs Blue Site: http://rvb.roosterteeth.com/ What got me into writing? Bo and Gabrielle (OLTL). They were the first couple of which I really considered myself a fan. I had read a few fics and adored them. While wishing someone out there would write more, a novel (no pun intended) idea hit me -- why not just write some myself? And thus, it all began. After Bo and Gabrielle, I was a brief fan of Nora/Daniel. Brief does NOT mean light. I was very heavily into them. It was short lived, though, because I was able to recognize that there was no way the writers were going to give them a fair chance. As much potential as I saw there, I knew it would never be fleshed out. The writers were too busy focusing on a Bo/Nora reunion that, unless I'm very much mistaken, still hasn't happened after six years of them hinting at it. I wrapped up my fanfic and stopped watching OLTL. Perhaps because my heart needed mending, perhaps because I was on the "rebound," or perhaps just because they're fucking awesome, I soon fell in love with the pairing of Ric/Alexis from GH. I loved their adversarial relationship. Ric would taunt Alexis about wanting him, and she would always retort, flustered and frustrated, and made me so unbelievably giggly. I soon discovered just how large the Rexis fanbase was -- MUCH lager than the GabBo one (about ten), and certainly larger than the DaNora one (which was about four people). I'm sure those couples had thousands of fans -- but not ones who particpated online. In any case, I found tons of fanfic for Rexis, enough to fill the Albert Hall. Music videos, graphics, slideshows, parodies, transcripts, DOWNLOADABLE clips. It was amazing. I quickly fell into writing fic for them too. This was quite possibly my longest lasting fandom. To a degree, I am still invested in all of these couples. Rexis mostly because they are both alive and (to a degree) together. I just don't have the time to watch. It's too taxing. Soap operas are too taxing. Thank god for Red vs Blue. New episodes come out once a week, they're usually around five minutes long, and they are far more entertaining than a years' worth of soap operas. Sorry, it's true. I LOVE the writers. I don't hate the writers like I did with OLTL and GH. I love them, I trust them, I admire them immensely. I have tons of unfinished fanfiction for Rexis, but I put them on hold to pursue my new fanfic love - Red vs Blue. Recently I had gotten back into writing soap fanfiction (summer of 2008), mostly for Bo/Gabrielle of OLTL. I've started more than ten new ones that I'll be putting up here soon. I've also gotten into the series "How I Met Your Mother" and I'm a huge BAR (Barney And Robin) shipper. I have a few story ideas for this ship as well, and I plan on putting those stories here. I have started a HIMYM/DRH crossover that I DO intend to finish, I promise. Sometimes it's just easier to write quick one-shots than think about a multi-chapter fic. But I do promise it's coming along. Finally, my latest and so far most intense fandom: Castle. I ship Castle/Beckett like any sensible fan of the show and thus read and write quite a bit of that fiction. I am currently enrolled in fanfic100 at LiveJournal. My claims are on Private First Class Dick Simmons (of Red vs Blue) and, appropriately, Castle/Beckett (of Castle). I do tend to favor the latter a bit more, but that's only because it is my newest obsession. Please subscribe if you're interested in my work, and leave me feedback if you read my stories.
