It's where I spend the majority of my wonderful time. So, thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the brief foray into my fanfic pursuits.

Well, well, well. It's been a strange... hmmmm ~looks over her shoulder a bit~ well, around five years I'd guess. I hit the ground running with fanfiction, especially Bleach. Wrote a few drabbles, started a few epics, read a loooooooooooooot of stories, made several friends... I explored Harry Potter, hit briefly into Static Shock and Naruto before disappearing. It seems like I come back to visit now and again, but never really stick around for long. Well, I make no promises for the futures (as we all know how those are bound to turn out), but at least know that I keep coming back. If I do nothing else, I will finish Utter Chaos. I also plan to finish The Stage, but let's face it, that one's much longer and therefore will take longer to complete. At least I can see the end coming with Utter Chaos.

For those of you don't know me, I suppose I'll return to something resembling a more traditional profile. Hmmm, some details about me. I graduated college approximately two years ago and have been working a regular job ever since. I may or may not be returning to school sometime this year, so that may or may not leave me with more free time to write.

I have a decided proclivity for darkness. I like interesting characters with dark emotional turmoil (angst is okay, but whining is annoying). Wings are a particular obsession of mine and if I had my way, I'd have some and be able to fly with them. I also have a strange fondness for blood, gore and torturing my favorite characters. I have many strange quirks but am generally quite friendly. Amongst my group of friends, we have a role-play of which Hetalia country we are (I am Canada; incidentally, this is how I got into the show in the first place). One of our favorite activities is watching stuff and sorting the various characters into their appropriate Hogwarts houses based on their personalities (also incidentally, Canada is a Hufflepuff, althought HetaOni makes a decent argument for a Ravenclaw Canada. Ah, if only HetaOni were canon and not fanon).

I have several favorite shows/series right now and I'm surprised at how many aren't anime. I'm currently into Supernatural (although I sort of count that as an anime and season seven kind of sucks so far), Fringe, Castle, Psych, My Little Pony, Hetalia, Once Upon a Time, The Finder. There are more, but those are the ones I try to keep up to date with. I, somewhat unfortunately, have several fanfic ideas for many of these that I do not have time to write. So many ideas, so little time.

I'm currently rereading the Green Rider series by Kristen Britain and the Pendragon series by DJ MacHale. And if I ever find my copy of Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, I'll read that as well.

Fanfictions that are a must read for those in the fandom... 'Through a Glass, Darkly by valkyrie-alex' for those of you that remember Static Shock. 'Casting Moonshadows by Moonsign' for those of your that are RLSB fans in Harry Potter. The seven part 'Sacrifices Arc by Lightning on the Wave' is an epic Harry Potter rewrite for those looking for a darker HP. So many choices for Bleach fanfics but really, if you read nothing else, read 'Dry Heat by altersuperego' and the sequel 'Cold Rain'. So fantastic. The rest of my favorites are of course, all good, but these are the ones I keep coming back to for a reread.

Random ideas I've had for fanfictions that I may or may not write but am at least horribly tempted by terrible plot bunnies:

My Little Pony: The five 'Lightning Ponies' (my characters) come to Ponyville right on the eve of a giant storm. I don't wanna give away too much, but looooots of ideas for this one.

Castle/Psych crossover: Beckett and Castle make their way to a gruesome crime scene. A dead girl is torn to pieces in a ritualistic manner, but the weird thing is, the second victim is still alive. His amnesia gets in the way, but somehow, they still work to put the pieces together. His identity, however, is another story...

Harry Potter: Directly after Voldemort's decline. HP and co return to school to retake their final year. Meanwhile, a new generation begins at Hogwarts (again, my new characters). Even though Voldemort's gone, life goes on and so, apparently, does evil...

Harry Potter: So, this has been done before (ish), I know, but maybe the twists turn out different? What happens if Voldemort doesn't kill Lily Potter? Instead, he knocks her out of the way. Then Sirius shows up and suddenly, the past is being rewritten. What happens to the prophecy? Severus-centric.

Other plot bunnies that plague me are for original ficlets, so I won't bother with them here. It's the ponies one that's really getting to me though. I want to finish hetalia first at least.
