Hello everyone, my name's Ravi, and I'm not much of a writer, but I know my grammar and so I review and critique others' stories (fairly, I think). Not much to say about me, I'm a 17 year old guy who lives in the Midwest region of the USA. I over-analyze just about everything you can think of that a teenage boy would be slightly interested in. I've overanalyzed stories, game physics (ROFLMAO at SSBB for this one), psychological structures, elemental powers, creature endurances, thought-processes, theoretical physics in shows, just about anything that can be somewhat defined by physical science, social science, or metaphysics, and more importantly, I DON'T MAKE MY CRAP UP! I TRY TO BE AS THOROUGH AS POSSIBLE TO GET A CORRECT CONCLUSION!!

I love to read action/sci-fi or just action novels, and recently, I found out that I don't mind romance as long as its not kiddy romance. I was not much of an anime watcher, ever, but for a psychology project, I had to analyze a fictional character. As I was flipping through the channels on my TV, I saw Pokemon and decided to give it a go. Now, I find myself deeply interested in Pokemon, both in a "fan of the series" way, but also a psycho-analytical way. Thanks to FanFiction, I have decided to get to work writing a fanfiction on the show that gave me an A+ on my psych final. More later...

Updates

So thanks to a certain two authors, Lucifer IX and Torchix, I've finally started work on my first to-be-uploaded story. Hopefully, I will have the first couple chapters out in November. I'm a senior in high school, its fall semester, life's tough, so bear with me please. My stories include advanced scientific and metaphysical material so if you have questions, PLEASE PM ME. I would hate to lose reader just because they didn't know what I was talking about. I will try to explain any heavy information at the end of each chapter.

Status

My story is currently in the planning stage. Not much else to say. For a general idea, both trainers and pokemon will take an active role in battles from now on...can't say too much more other than the team has to go back from some extra schooling before they can get league passes. A new region called Vespera is now in existence, and the team travels there for some adventure. Ash and May meet up again (Yes! Its Adavnceshipping), and the team meets a trainer named Lerris who explains that on top of the league and the grand festival, there is also the Finale Tournament, a team-based competition that tests trainers' fighting, coordinators' style, and both human and pokemon strength and intellect at the same time. Oh, and team gets aura powers, both scientific aura physics, and some complete BS game-style aura physics. I will draw a clear line at the end of each chapter for those that can brave the world of science.

Favorite Pairings

Ash x May (Advanceshipping: I have very specific reasons as to why I support this relationship; first and foremost, as seen objectively from the psychological analysis of both characters I've taken psychology they are very compatible with each other; they both communicate in the same way concrete, but they think differently: Ash thinks utilitarian while May thinks cooperatively; In Kerseian psychology, this is the ideal setup for a relationship. This is my main reason for supporting the ship: It simply makes sense. That and the sheer amount of hints in this ship.)

Pit x Samus or Zelda (Looks cool, not much support analytically, as there's not much personality information about Pit, just what fanfic writers make with it. I've seen emo Pit, happy-go-lucky Pit, serious down-to-earth Pit, gung-ho Pit...the list doesn't end)

Brock x Misty (Gymshipping: Misty provides a constant female companion for Brock thorught the Kanto and Jhoto series. They are both gym leaders and therefore have much in common; however, they also have very different styles of battling where Brock prefers to use strength and the environment, Misty prefers to focus solely on the pokemon itself and therefore setup the relationship matrix in ideal situation same communication abstract, different usage: Brock is cooperative while Misty is utilitarian. I support this ship 'cause it makes sense...once Brock calms down that is.)

Kenny x Dawn (TwinLeafShipping? For this ship, I don't know enough about Kenny to provide a good psychological analysis. I haven't seen much of the Sinnoh episodes, but I'm trying to catch up. I do know that Dawn is a concrete communcator and a utilitarian thought-process. I don't know enough about Kenny. There are plenty of hints to support this ship, and so I do too, for now.)

Max x Dawn (ShowOffShipping: If this ship happened, it would quite awesome--and unexpected. As the name entails, they are both show-offs and if they were to travel together, they would stop at nothing to try to be 1-up on the other. Probably doesn't stand the same chance as TwinLeafShipping but still, the idea is kind of cool.)

Least Favorite Pairings

Ash x Misty (Sorry Pokeshippers, even though I was around and a big fan when pokemon first starred in the USA, I never saw Ash and Misty together, I always saw Misty as an older sister figure. As a companion early in Ash's journey, Ash cared about one thing only: Pokemon. Also, having seen all of the Kanto and Jhoto episodes again, I saw them when they first came out too, I honestly can't say that Misty and Ash ever are somewhat attracted to each other. They love each other like siblings do.)

Pit x Ike (Please, save me...I don't get what's amazing about this coupling, it just doesn't make sense, and no, I'm not homophobic)

Paul x Dawn (This makes even less sense than Contestshipping does. Read Contestshipping description for evidence as to why.)

May x Drew (Contestshipping, Nope, don't like it, not one bit; having taken psychology, I can place Drew quite easily under the extremely utilitarian personality; simply put, when it comes to girls, he plays the field; May, however, is a cooperator personality, and these people hate others who see themselves before everything in the world; Before you argue that Ash is utilitarian too, Ash is balanced between the two: he both focuses on himself but is ready to put his life on the line for his friends. Drew gives her roses one second, and then puts her to tears and walks away with a smirk on his face the next; I didn't like him from the first episode I saw with him, and I especially don't envision him to be with May.)
