Author has written 17 stories for Final Fantasy I-VI, Final Fantasy VIII, Earth: Final Conflict, Lord of the Rings, Final Fantasy VII, and StarTrek: Other. I'm 24, I'm male, and I write fic. I grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska, near the exact middle of the United States, and now I'm a working journalist in southeast Iowa. I started out writing for Earth: Final Conflict, which I originally posted over at Philosophy Sphere back in the dark days of antiquity. Since then, I've done mostly Final Fantasy, despite a few halfhearted attempts to branch out. I like rocketships, the color green, and pepperoni pizza. Someday, I will totally write an epic Pong fic. Most of my fics began shortly after the beginning of time. Don't let that scare you, though. I like reviews. (You know, as opposed to all those people who hate them.) I especially like reviews with specifics, so I can get an idea of what parts of the story did or didn't work, and what I should improve on. Also, if you have questions or observations that don't work in a review, feel free to shoot me an email. form. That said, it's probably the densest fic I've attempted to write, so I'm getting hung up quite a bit. Sidelines - Okay, so the execution is very tricky. But I really am still working on this. Hopefully updates will be coming somewhat faster now. Omega - I might be consolidating some of these chapters for stylistic reasons. Or I might not. I'll know once I've written the next one. Maybe that'll take a month or so. Abort, Retry, Fail? - I have no idea when the next chapter will be ready. I have to be in a very specific mood when I write this one, since I don't really feel comfortable with a chapter until I can repeatedly crack myself up. (Even then, it's hit-and-miss.) I haven't given up on it, but it'll happen when it happens. Fithos - Hopefully the next update will take considerably less than two and a half weeks; my spiffy new improved outline seems to be holding up. Let's say updates every week or week and a half. Final Fantasy Revolution - Another one of those fics I'll get to once my Moonlight blitz is over. As it is, I'm hoping for an update every couple of weeks. Hoping. North Wind - This is a pretty low priority for me, since I don't know how long it will be and there are some plot elements that I planned out but forgot and am now trying to remember. Once I finish Moonlight, I'll get serious about it. That's everything I'm currently actively working on. I never abandon hope that I'll eventually finish a story, but as for the others, don't be holding your breath for an update. (Given how spotty my record is, I'd be surprised if anyone actually was; but if you are, don't.) | |||||||||||
