"It's not over till the fat lady sings, and I've never heard Umbridge croak a note."
Don't let the series' close bring a close to your fanfics!

Don't stop till the theories flop!
If J. K. Rowling hasn't specifically ruled it out, there's no reason it shouldn't be true. Keep the theories flowing and alive!

Hello, everyone! Thank you so much for coming to visit!

Hold on! People actually read this?! Thank you for telling me, Profile Traffic monitor!

I'd like to then apologize for any delay that may occur in my updates and explain myself. I am, at any given time, working on several of these fanfictions, working on an original novel of my own, and in college as a junior-year Psychology and English with a concentration in Creative Writing double major. I planned once to leave the Potterverse behind but as the Parselmouths' song says, "This is never going to end. It really can't end, 'cause we've made too darn many friends." I AM working on my fanfiction and will be updating periodically. Late nights, it's easier to borrow characters than to try to fiddle with my own less-developed world.

So straight to it, then. My fanfictions, broken down for your convenience:

The Draco Sequence (in chronological order with the earliest listed first)

Death Eaters Don't Cry - COMPLETE again! Draco Malfoy has the life of the Death Eater he always imagined for himself. He has the Dark Lord's attention. But now that he has it, he's no longer sure it's what he really wants. Is death the only way out? Is it worth it? Rated T for brief language, torture, and depressing situations, but mostly because Voldemort interacts oddly with Draco. I have made even those who despise the little ferret feel sorry for him!

Now You're Here - The sequel to Death Eaters Don't Cry. Draco Malfoy returns to Hogwarts, having fled the Dark Lord and come to Dumbledore with no one else to turn to and no where else to go. But he is scorned by all four Houses as well as some of the staff, the Dark Lord is still seeking to influence him and win back his support, and the tactics of his Death Eaters at Hogwarts are less subtle. Allies are few and trust is hard. T for brief language, torture, angst.

And Then There Were Nine - COMPLETE! The sequel to Now You're Here. Draco's spending his summer holiday with the Weasleys, much to his distaste. But with the cloud of his past hanging over him, will he be able to survive? Especially when Harry gets his annual invitation to the Burrow. T for teenage angst, brief language, depressing situations, suicidal thoughts and attempts, and the continuing romance between him and Alana, although this may be shoved onto the back burner a bit. There may also be some sexual comments - Draco's sharp tounge, you know.

The Holly and the Ivy - Looking at it now, will probably NEVER be finished! A second holiday gift. Draco and Alana's wedding is the overarching setting, but the story keeps growing to include more characters and more plot lines, so that it is more of a knitted blanket of many colors, with the tails of each begun and finished color still left hanging. K+ for more than one passionate kiss.

Reindeer Pause - FINISHED! My first holiday treat. Draco's never believed in Santa Claus, but one midnight visitor will change all that. K for gifts, Santa, a teddy bear, and a Christmas tree.

Other Harry Potter Works

Serious

Beyond the Worst - FINISHED! Written pre-DH and disregarding all of its information on this score. A continuation on the chapter "Snape's Worst Memory" from OotP. This short ficlet includes two other possible memories Snape put into the Pensive at the beginning of each Occlumency lesson. It also answers some of our older questions, such as Neville's fear of the Potions' Master. And it leaves Harry in a much better light than at the end of J. K. Rowling's chapter (I really wish he'd apologized at some point...). Anyway, it's my first attempt at a Snape ficlet, but so far it has recieved good reviews. It's also one of the few I've ever tried to do in Harry's POV. T for some rather horrifying situations and Harry's scary teenage anger. (The new words that he must engrave in his skin? "I will not attempt Unforgivable curses.")

A Dark and Stormy Night - FINISHED! Character study on Minerva McGonagall. On a dark and stormy night, her mind wanders through the past, over the memories that made her stern, that won Dumbledore her fierce support and Voldemort her fierce opposition. M because of implied mature topics with some detail. My first M...

Light-hearted

Awry and Askew - FINISHED! A bit of craziness my friends and I invented for a skit. Snape is asked to oversee a meeting of AWA (Addicted Wizards Anonymous), with all of our favorite characters in attendance: the trio, the twins, Neville, Malfoy, and Trelawney. You can only imagine how Snape must react and how much trouble he finds himself in. T for adult concepts.

Sparks Fly - FINISHED! Another random ficlet from me. Sir Nicholas drops his wand on the way to his beheading and a Muggle peasant picks it up as firewood. K because I could find absolutely nothing malignant or difficult about it.

Another One Bites the Dust - Based upon a list I found on Mugglenet known as "50 Ways to Annoy Lord Voldemort," in this story, each of the Death Eaters is either so annoyingly childish, so annoyingly cheerful, or so annoying rude that Voldemort feels extreme punishments are in order. Once this was far more satisfying than it is now. I'm sort of losing steam on it as, well, it seems rather unfair to ridicule the dead, redeemed, and imprisoned. Brava to J. K. Rowling for finely finishing off her series! K+ because I'm killing off characters like gnats and, as we all know, non-innocent lives are just as important as innocent ones.

Cornelius Fudge's Not-So-Famous Goblin Pie - FINISHED! Well, this one's really pretty straightforward. It's a recipe for Goblin Pie inspired by the article in The Quibbler. It's really very funny even if I'm not entirly sure it's leagally a fanfic. Ah, well. Read anyway! But at your own risk. K for goblin baking.

Don't Turn Out the Lights, Potter - Draco Malfoy arranges to meet the trio in the Slytherin Common Room for a ghost story-telling competition. Who'll come out on the top? "Magical" ghost stories, zany humor, and intense student rivalry! K+ for a little blood, guts, and gore - you know, the usual ghostly apparel.

Works from Other Series

Two Devils Walk into a Bar - FINISHED! Iago (Shakespeare's Othello) and Milton's Satan (Paradise Lost) meet in a bar in Hell and spar over who's more wicked. I don't really know what else to say about this. T mostly because I used the writing styles of both author's for the character's dialouge and who can ever understand what Milton's saying??

Heaven or Earth - (Avatar: the Last Airbender) FINISHED! Toph muses about Sokka's lingering love for Yue. Really short and mostly a writing exercise and character study. I figured I had written it and I may as well put it up in case anyone is interested. K+ for the mention of a kiss and nothing more.

I hope that aids you in deciding which you'd like best. Or, if you've the time, feel free to read them all! Please come again soon! I would love to hear from you!
~Yours forever, Tsona

A few notes on my favorites:

With regards to my favorite authors. Many of these are friends of mine, not all of whose stories I've yet had time to sample. However, what I have read of Rebekahek623's work, I have very much enjoyed. Her style is wonderfully unique and thought-provoking. Of most of Fizzing Wizard's and Ryuujin Dragon King's work, I cannot say much as I am unfamiliar with most of those worlds, yet I can tell you that they are amazing writers as I know them well and we've worked together on pieces that have never been published anywhere. Of especial interest on this list are Jedi Tess of Gryffindor, lembas7, charmingly-holly, and Mystiq as they are the only ones I have never had contact with (beyond an occasional PM) and who all got on this list solely based on merit. Also, one author who should be on there and is not is Cassandra Claire, whose fanfiction works-- the Draco Trilogy-- I no longer know where to find, alas! Her work greatly influenced my own, by which I mean she kept me sane for the five years or so it took me to get through her three books. She is, however, now an officially published author. Her "Mortal Instruments" series can be found under the name Clare.

Of my favorite stories, I use this both for those stories I am currently reading and those I love, though at any one time, most are my beloveds. One there, Dwarves Love Red Meat (Lord of the Rings), I co-authored with Fizzing Wizard.

My Universal DISCLAIMER (for the Potterverse): J. K. Rowling once told BBC that she is “very flattered by the fact there is such great interest in her Harry Potter series and that people take the time to write their own stories.” She also mentioned that she wishes the fanfics to be credited to the author rather than herself. So, in respect for her wishes: IT’S MINE! ALL MINE! MUHAHA! However, this generous wish has also renewed my respect for her, so: All characters involved in these Harry Potter stories-- excluding my own Alana O’Toule, Callous Boor, and a few other minor additions, and Fizzing Wizard’s Kari Ollivander-- belong to the great J. K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series. They are no creations of mine, as much as I wish it otherwise--and even if I change them almost beyond recognition, as I am wont to do, the original templates are still hers-- and therefore I must thank her for making these stories possible. Thank you.
