The gang stumbles apon a field one day and in the middle is a dead girl. But when they aproach her, they find out she had died protecting her newborn child, a newborn inu-hanyou child that is. Refusing to let the child die, Kagome takes care of the baby. But after a few weeks of caring for the baby, they begin to realize why people had tried to kill the baby. Naraku.
