Author has written 41 stories for National Treasure, Peanuts, West Side Story, Anne of Green Gables series, Harry Potter, Full House, and Enchanted.

8/6/10 - Leapin' lizards! I've been a member of FF.net for almost three years now...that's a long time. Usually, around this time period, fanfic authors decided to take a break or just walk away from it all (intentionally or unintentionally). I'm younger than what most of the writers are at this stage. I do have less time to write and have less ideas. But I still love it. So let's say that I'm on a "hiatus medium". I'm mostly off, but I'm still unofficially on. The lights are slightly dimmed, but the curtain hasn't dropped =)

8/9/10 - I've deleted my True stories about Neville's children and their childhood. They were quite awful compared to my current writing. I may repost them eventually, but don't count on it. I've given enough background on Neville, Hannah, and the kids in other, better stories to suffice. =)

"I, A Catholic Girl, do solemnly swear to review all the fics I read, regardless of the number of reviews, its age, or anything else.

I have joined the review revolution.

I, A Catholic Girl, have challenged myself! I'm proud to be a part of the HPFC forum.

I solemnly swear that when my first book gets published, I will dedicate it to HPFCers.

I am merely a girl trying to become a writer by taking the small steps and following the simple road by writing and publishing fan fiction on this site. I love writing Harry Potter fan fiction, and I seek any help to improve my writing. I've been writing for as long as I can remember, and of course, reading, which helps me with my writing and inspires me. I've been published two times away from the Internet - once in a local newspaper with a Broadway play review I co-authored with two classmates, and the other time when I won a nationwide kids' short story contest. I was twelve and ten years old when these publications occured. Now, I'm always on the look out for young adult writing contests I can submit my original writing to. Although I rarely update it, here is my FictionPress page.

I also love photography and devote lots of time to it. I take pictures at school events with a fancy-schmancy camera. Pictures of mine were in the school newspaper twice this past year.

My Tumblr

About my fan fiction writing: I write solely in the Harry Potter and National Treasure categories, but will skim through other categories of my liking as well. MY NT fics include my OC, Andrea Morrison, the niece of Benjamin Gates. I've written four NT stories, all with her in them - three multi-chaptered fics and a single oneshot.

4/7/10 - What's this I hear about a National Treasure 3 in 2011? Fingers crossed! :) If there is a third movie, expect an 'Andrea-adapted' version once the DVD comes out or when I find the movie script online. So there's a distant project for the future.

I write about a variety of different subjects and characters in Harry Potter. I mostly like to write about Neville Longbottom and his daughter, a self-creation by the name of Alice Pomona Longbottom. Most of my HP stories are challenges from the Harry Potter Fanfiction Challenges (see link above).

More about me...

I'm obsessed with British accents, and sometimes pretend I have one.

I also have an unhealthy fascination with British vocabulary.

I've never been out of the United States and hope to one day travel all over Europe with my two sisters, who are my best friends.

I come from a family of creativity-immune people.

I'm a Walt Disney freak.

My inner personality is a hippie, and deep down, I'm natural and down-to-earth.

And yeah, I'm Catholic.

My favorite authors have to be Carolyn Meyer, Sarah Dessen, Nicholas Sparks, and Meg Cabot. I'm a fan of historical and realistic fiction.

Grammar mistakes such as their-there-they're, we're-were, your-you're, etc., drive me absolutely crazy. To me, some of those errors can be made by a third-grader easily but it's just sad if adults write like that. Call me a grammar guru. I'm bound to leave a review correcting any mistakes.

~Don't be afraid of death, be afraid of an unlived life~

~Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself~

~Take your time, don't live too fast, troubles come, and they will pass~

~Music is a safe kind of high~

~Growing old is not growing up~

~The pure and simple truth is rarely pure and never simple~

~We dance for laughter, we dance for tears, we dance for madness, we dance for fears, we dance for hopes, we dance for screams, we are the dancers, we create the dreams~

Wandering, Waking in an empty wood, It is quiet here, I am powerful, I look down below, serenade the world from inside my soul ~ Melody, by Kate Earl

Don't go trying some new fashion, Don't change the color of your hair, You always have my unspoken passion, Although I might not seem to care ~ Just the Way You Are, by Billy Joel

Picture yourself in a boat on a river, with tangerine trees and marmalade skies, Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly, A girl with kaleidoscope eyes ~ Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, by the Beatles

Here's a little saying I found on a fellow HPFC member's profile page. I'm sure all of us girls have felt like this about boys at least once - just don't give up hope about your Prince Charming, gals, and someday, your prince will come.

Girls
are like
apples on trees.
The best ones are
at the top of the tree. The
boys dont want to reach
for the good ones because they
are afraid of falling and getting hurt.
Instead, they just get the rotten apples
from the ground that aren't quite as good,
but easy. So the apples at the top think
something is wrong with them, when in
reality, they're amazing. They just
have to wait for the right boy to
come along, the one who's
brave enough to
climb all
the way
to the top
of the tree.

Name: Kristen

Gender: Female

Age: I am 16 years old, a little baby in the world of fan fiction authors, and made this account right around my twelfth birthday.

Astrology Sign: Virgo, and proud to be one!

Location: The Place I Must Call Home.

-I still believe in true love, and my Prince Charming. Everything that happens to me is what God wants me to experience, and I believe He'll bless me with happiness someday.

-I don't mind being alone and I don't mind being with people. Sometimes I'm shy. Sometimes I'm vivacious.

-I believe I was born in the wrong time era. Things seem much simpler and easier in, say, the Canadian 1800s. Plus, I'm a sucker for less complicating and more romantic times - and fancy ballgowns that you can wear on a daily basis without being stared at oddly.

-I have named my unborn children. I know - how weirder can I get? And if I never get married, I'll adopt. I just want kids someday.

-I do want to be a published author someday. I have no idea what I'd do else-wise.

7/17/08 - Some people have asked me for my links to the National Treasure and National Treasure: Book of Secrets scripts. National Treasure can be found here, while NT: Book of Secrets is here...

Images of my OCs:

Eleanor Susan Longbottom: (Alice's Story: From Toddler to Adult, An Era's Time, Motherly Memories)

Michael Scamander: (Alice's Story: Toddler to Adult, An Era's Time, With You)

Liana Scamander: (Alice's Story: Toddler to Adult, An Era's Time)
