Author has written 5 stories for Code Lyoko, Tokyo Mew Mew, Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, and Otomen/オトメン(乙男).

UPDATE - I haven't written any anime/manga/videogame fanfics for over a year now due to my different interests, as well as being occupied with offline life. I don't think I plan on continuing the fics I've posted in the past 4+ years due to my loss of inspiration, ideas, and the usual writer's block problem. I did spend some time writing, but primarily on original fics and some blogging and article writing about a current "real-life" (non-fictional) fandom that not only I am a fan of them but actually know them personally in real life.

I recently got in to Otomen after seeing the live-action TV series that was aired back in Japan two years ago (2009). I recently started to read the first few chapters of the manga itself but I still love the live-action rendition of the manga though. I thought the cast portrayed their characters real well. I've become a huge fan of the TV series along with the actors who played Asuka and Ryo: Masaki Okada and Kaho. (^_^)

So, in short, I started writing fanfics again.

Art is life and life can imitate art. That includes visual arts, literary arts, and vocal (singing) arts.

I used to have an account here but I have lost the username and password, so I made another one. I used to write complete fics from Card Captor Sakura and among other series, but ever since my desktop died two years ago, all those files are long lost and gone.

I don't write as much fanfics as I used to but sometimes I do end up writing one to improve my writing in general. I like mysteries, some borderline fantasy or sci-fi, romance, slice of life stories, and general stories that are simply well-written regardless of the setting or genre. I'm not very fond of stories that are extremely non-canon (ie. yaoi, yuri, incest, crack, slash, etc. etc.), characters written out of character, seriously atrocious grammar and spelling (though I'm not perfect, it's irritating to see the obvious mistakes), and 4-5 paragraph "fiction" and then consider it as a one-shot. Why even write them when you can't even tell a good story with detail?

Some Other Stuff About Me...
I'm Asian-American living in (not always) Sunny California. I speak two languages fluently (Tagalog and English) and can read/write/understand two languages proficiently (Spanish and Japanese). I also like to do graphic & web design and noob-style 3D character modeling. I also like writing original stories, primarily mysteries and not so much on a romance fluff. I also like music in general except country and heavy metal. I mostly listen to the older stuff (I think majority of today's music are not as good as the ones in the past), '60s - '90s, and I listen to a good amount of Asian Pop (OPM stuff, J-Pop, some K-Pop and C-Pop). I love to read... read... read... and read... so much that my bedroom is more of a library now than an actual bedroom. I like some traditional art too but I've been lazy as of late. I mostly like calligraphy and sumi-e (Japanese brush painting) but I can tolerate very minimal standard illustration. I think that's it for now.

CURRENT SERIES
Otomen (Aya Kanno)

FANFIC TYPES
Borderline alternate universe
Romance
Witty humor (not slapstick or parody-types)
Good, simple storylines
Borderline action
Mystery (which includes murder mysteries)
Couplings that actually do make sense (from canon couples to non-canon couples that have strong implications that they can be a couple too)

LEAST FAVORITE FANFICS
Anything yaoi/yuri/slash/crack/incest (that doesn't mean I'm homophobic, but I do have personal morals and preferences)
Characters being written out of character from the original series (alternate universe or not)
Non-canon couples, most especially if these characters don't have an established relationship in the original series
Fanfics with no concrete detail and seriously atrocious grammar and spelling (I'm not expecting perfect grammar and spelling but if the mistakes are just obvious then there is a problem)
Badly-written songfics
Any anime/manga fanfics with Japanese song lyrics being inserted at the wrong places and/or if there are no English translations to them (why? Because I'm pretty sure that majority of the fanfic writers and fans don't exactly KNOW the Japanese language)
Any fanfics with recycled ideas (for example, those "rewrites" that some people do, making their own version. That's just disrespectful to the original writers/mangaka and also somewhat of a copyright infringement too)
OCs who are written as the main characters and very little attention towards the canon characters
"Mary Sue"-type OCs and/or self-insertion
Crossovers (now, I know having crossovers with some other series provide plenty of story ideas, but I'm not a very huge major fan of them. I actually prefer having a whole different plot with some OCs rather than using crossovers, unless if there's something in common with the main series that actually makes sense...)
