Author has written 5 stories for Outsiders, Shakespeare, and Harry Potter. 12/4/08: Alright. I have a Livejournal, and I want my community to actual do something and have comments. Its a Harry Potter Fanfic one (which I assure you, there is no lack of any of these). I want it to have prompts, and stories posted regularly. Perhaps I was wondering if some of you would allow me to post your stories? That might be a stretch. In any case, pm me if you are interested. My user name is Miss_Vixxen. Hope to see you there! 10/13/08 Ok, so I went back to read this whole page of stupidness, and that's exactly what it was; stupid. Anyways, it came to my attention that we can do beta stuff. I knew this for a while but it had never really registered. I love to edit and read other people's stuff, and am good at finding mistakes. So, if you ever need someone to beta your stuff, then just give me a pm or however you do it. =) I love to read, and write. I also love my laptop. I live in Massachusetts, but I won't say where! I read more than I do anything else, and it's a bit frustrating, but I don't care because I love it. I like every kind of book possible, even the occasional biography. But most of all, I love old style books. I don't mind newer books, but I adore, even worship books be Dickens, Margaret Mitchell, Emily or Charlotte Bronte...the whole lot. I love the language, their tone, and just their poetic writing. And they are always stupendously written. I haven't read a single one and been like "well that was a total waste of time" because they're not. I recently finished Gone With the Wind, and its Marvelous. I won't go on a spiel about the book, but for any of you who haven't read it, READ IT! Its wonderfully written, the story line is great, the characters are portrayed to their fullest extent and are the most colorful (I don't mean red, blue, yellow...) characters I have ever read about. Except for Wuthering Heights. I'm sorry, but that story, above and beyond all other books (even Harry Potter, and Outsiders, and even Gone With the Wind) is my favorite. Favorite! Heathcliff, if he were real, I would stalk and marry him, or something drastic like that. Catherine Earnshaw and her daughter, and Linton, and Hareton...and I should stop now, but are the best collective characters in the world. (MY opinion) The story line is so strong, and captivating, and eerie, oh GOD, read that too. And the language, the words, I can not stop coveting this book, ever. And when my friends start talking about books, they run away from me when I start talking about this book. Anyways, of this topic... I have two cats, and I love them. I have like 1/32th British blood, so I am totally entitled to speaking with my cruddy accent. (actually, it's prety good.) And I love Brits. So...enough now, and if you really bothered to read all this, then WOW. just WOW. I aplaud you. like, wow, again. Not that its too long or anything, but I'd be surprised if you said you weren't bored or anything. | |||||||
