| A Kiss Before Dying |
Author has written 6 stories for Halo, Inheritance Cycle, Robert Langdon series, Four Brothers, and Star Wars. IMPORTANT NOTE: AS OF 5/17/11, ALL STORIES ARE ON TEMPORARY HIATUS. Unfortunately, with college, a part-time job, and other personal matters at hand, it is exceedingly difficult for me to find the time to write and update all of my stories on a frequent, constant basis. There are a lot of aspects of my life I need to get sorted out at the moment, and unfortunately, that reality has taken a toll on my otherwise fictional, romanticized life of writing. I'm sorry it's taken me that long to realize that, because it's made me that much more miserable in the long run. As soon as I am able to come back to writing again on a not-so-sporadic basis, I will make it known here first. I cannot say THANK YOU enough to everyone who's read, commented, watched, or faved any of my stories; the knowledge that at least one person wants to read what I write is all that keeps me going. Thank you so much for your understanding, everyone. Name: Jessi Age: 21 Location: Same planet as you. Likes: Writing, reading, Four Brothers, heavy metal music, Star Wars, graphic design, Harry Potter, comics, role-playing, World of Warcraft Dislikes: Sharks, rap music, meat, Edward Cullen, Decepticons, styrofoam, heights, yaoi, the color pink, Voldemort, bad drivers FictionPress Account: http://www.fictionpress.com/~zippymercer About Me: My friends call me Zippy, but my legal name is Jessi, not Jessica. I was named after the outlaw Jesse James, and I'm very proud of the fact, so don't screw it up. I'm 21 and a current English major in college, and sometimes, when I'm alone, I pretend I'm a Sith Lord. I'm a vegetarian, terrified of sharks, and have an unhealthy obsession with Garrett Hedlund and Harry Potter. Also, for the record, I sided with the Autobots, not the Decepticons. When I was in high school, I wrote for the school newspaper for three years, was the opinions editor for one, and I've won several awards for my articles throughout that time. If this doesn't tell you that I love to write, then I don't know what else to say. I've been surrounded by words all my life; to me, writing is an escape from the real world into an alternate reality where there are no boundaries to my imagination. I've held onto that little glimmer of hope through some of the hardest parts of my life, and it has seen me through. I am currently at work on a fantasy novel that I would love to have published someday. My goal in life is to become an accomplished author, and I would give almost anything to see that happen. I write daily, working on anything from poetry to fanfictions to my own novels, but I tend to be a little slow when it comes to updating. Thanks for visiting my page, and I hope you enjoy my stories. I love meeting new people, so if you have any comments or questions, don't hesitate to send me a message. —A Kiss Before Dying— "Writing is a marvelous thing...
