Anyway, I love Avatar. Huge fan. I adore Kataang, like Maiko, and like both Tokka and Sukka. Kataang is my OTP though and to me no other ship compares.
In terms of characters, Aang is my favorite. I think he is a great character who is often overlooked in my opinon by the fandom. I can't stand Zuko. In fact he bores me. And because of him and Zutara, I've pretty much abandoned reading fan fiction. I have very rarely found an author who writes about Aang and my ship and who does it well. Unfortunately, many of the authors who I think have the ability choose to instead take the less challenging route and write Zuko-centric fics or write Zutara.
And with 3 bazillion Zuko and Zutara fics, I say there isn't much of a challenge and most of it is repetitive.
