Um, hi? I'm Amy, and as you may have guessed, I like writing fanfiction! I also like making lists including fanmixes, and drawing very very bad fanart. Aside from this, I like speaking French, playing the Sims 2, drawing and art in general, reading and photography. Not that I'm any good at any of those things.

I tend to spend the majority of my time on my computer in my room, usually on Livejournal or on here. When I'm not on the computer, I'm usually at school or sleeping. Ah well, I have fun.

Emma Watson so I can rant at her about where she is clearly going wrong. Rupert Grint. Alan Rickman. Tim Burton. Angus McLaren. Obviously. David Tennant, John Barrowman. The list goes on and on.

Favourite Pairings:

Ron/Hermione - (Harry Potter) R/Hr is my OTP, and I love them both so much. They work so well together, and as I often identify with Hermione and see elements of Ron in real life, it seems all the more real to me. And JK Rowling said so anyway! I do love them both... ah. The movies can never do them justice. Not with Emma Watson's eyebrows acting as a third wheel. Sigh.

Severus/Lily - (Harry Potter) They're so sad, so perfect but not. I love how it gives Snape a reason for what he did. Plus I have a thing for tragic romantic hero type people.

Scorpius/Rose - (Harry Potter) I love love love the idea of these two. I like writing them because we know so little about them, so I can make them however I want. Plus, I always loved Romeo and Juliet... haha. Scorpius is basically awesomeness personified in my mind, and I love both him and my characterisation of Rose very dearly.

Neville/Luna - (Harry Potter) Although they didn't actually end up together, I still love them. Neville is too cool for anyone except Luna. Hannah Abbot... suuuure, JKR, suuure.

Perry/Jordan - (Scrubs) They have such a great dynamic, and even though they act as if they hate each other, you can tel they really care. And I love Daddy!Cox.

JD/Elliot - (Scrubs) I think they work because they're so alike. I'll be surprised if they don't end up together. And they make such a cute little family with Sammy.

Sawyer/Kate - (Lost) Because I can't stand Jack, and I only like Kate when she's with Sawyer.

Desmond/Penny - (Lost) How can you not like them, seriously? The Constant anyone?

Ben/Juliet - (Lost) I don't know why either. Because he's creepy and she really doesn't like him that way, but I don't know, I'm drawn to them.

Charlie/Claire - (Lost) Well, I did ship them. Until TPTB decided to kill one of them.

Stuff I HATE in fics - A List Because I am Bored.

- I absolutely cannot STAND JD/Cox slash for Scrubs fanfiction. I cannot for the life of me understand why it's so popular - it has no basis in fact whatsoever. Yeah, if you like it then fine, but it's just... I don't get it. JD has fantasies where Dr Cox is his FATHER. not his LOVER. It infuriates me, it really does. Why? Why? WHY?

- Militant shippers. I have only had the misfortune to encounter a few, and coincidentally, they happened to be Harry/Hermione shippers. There is no need to get so aggressive to the point of character bashing, refuse to read the canon that doesn't fit with their own idea of who should have ended up with who, and feel as if YOU know the character better than the author of the books herself. You don't. Who cares how many "hints" JKR alluded to the possibility of a H/Hr or D/Hr relationship, it did not happen, and even if you wish it did, JKR is NOT wrong for writing it a different way.

- People who won't update a fic until they get so many reviews. Sure, reviews are good, but denying someone who did read and review the chance to see what happens next is just stupid.

- Harry's twin sibling fics. There are just so many, and I've never managed to finish one.

- Ditto fics with Mary-Sue's. And OCs in general. The odd minor OC is fine, and adds to the story, but when it gets excessive, it's just no. Except My Immortal, because that is quite possibly the most hilarious piece of literature ever.

- 10 things about (insert character name here) fics that aren't well thought out. Like, ones that are really short, like a sentence for each point, and that don't make you think.

- American expressions in Harry Potter fics. This mainly annoys me because I am English, and seeing "mom" in stories really irks me. But then again, so does the overuse of "blimey" and "bloody hell" (even though I am guilty of doing this... JKR did it so I can too is my reasoning.)

- While we're on the subject of bad writing - poor spelling and grammar. The odd typo isn't so bad, but when stuff is just plain wrong it can get really annoying. Also, if you don't space put your paragraphs properly, and it's all just one big block of text. Argh.

- The mischaracterisation of Peter Pettigrew. The majority of fics I read portray him as a complete loser, who is fat, speaks in a squeaky voice constantly and is generally annoying. I think the thing to remember here is that HE WAS THEIR FRIEND. I quite like his character, and I find his story very interesting, but very few fics do it well enough.

- I'm now going to list all the ships that I can't stand in fics for no reason other than I am bored.

1. Harry/Hermione - I can see why people could have maybe thought this in the first few books, but come on, anvil sized hints towards Ron and Hermione! ANVIL SIZED. Harry and Hermione just don't fit. And anyway, shouldn't it be up to JK Rowling to choose who works and who doesn't? If she put Ron and Hermione together, then she put them together for a reason, and discounted Harry/Hermione for a reason. It annoys me that people don't get that her decision is final.

Plus the Hippogriff of love idea is really stupid.

2. Draco/Hermione - But, but, he's mean! And they don't argue or fight in a bantering kind of way like Ron and Hermione do - instead, it's a lot more malicious and intended to hurt! I'm not convinced that Ron would ever mean to hurt Hermione (in fact he seems bewildered when he unwittingly does) and in my opinion, he would be a much better boyfriend/husband for Hermione than Draco. He's mean! He's a bad person!! Fanon!Draco is virtually unrecognisable for me. -hides from Draco fangirls-

3. Draco/Ginny - It works better than Draco/Hermione, but still. No. Harry and Ginny! IT'S CANON DAMMIT.

4. Snape/Hermione, Snape/Harry - But, but he's all old and greasy! And I love his character, but he's old enough to be their father. And I'm not just saying that. He could have been Harry's father. And anyway, Snape loved Lily. And I don't think he ever got over her. In fact, I know he didn't. Quote from Deathly Hallows - "After all this time?" "Always."

Anyway, that was my little rant. Ha.

Completed Fics:

- Why It's So Hard To Say - (Scrubs) a fic about how Dr Cox and Jordan met, and how their relationship works. PerryJordan obviously. Rated T for language and sex references.

- His Pointless Letter - (Scrubs) Dr Cox writes a letter to his best friend Ben. But dead people can't read letters, can they?

- His Bunch Of Flowers - (Scrubs) PerryJordan. Three chapters... does that make it a threeshot? Anyway, it's about when Dr Cox and Jordan broke up, and the events that followed. T for language and sex references.

-Albus Severus - (Harry Potter) Basically how Harry decided to name his son after two amazing people. Mainly about Severus Snape, and the impression he left on Harry.

- A Moment in Time - (Harry Potter) SeverusLily. I got inspired by walking in the woods near my house, and thought it would be a nice place for Sev and Lily to spend some time together.

- Who Needs Love? - (Harry Potter) RonHermione. What happened between the last chapter of Deathy Hallows and the epilogue. Eleven chapters, and complete! I'm so proud of myself for this, I uploaded a new chapter pretty much every day!

- A Bad Dream - (Harry Potter) Oneshot. Ron has a nightmare during the Trio's first night at Grimmauld Place, and it's all RHr niceness.

- The Right Time - (Harry Potter) Neville/Luna oneshot I wrote for a ficathon over at LJ loonybottom. My prompt was Clocks, so I had Luna believe in a different "time" called Boham time. It's a bit angsty, but ah well. Neville/Luna has to be angsty as they never actually ended up together.

- Accio Christmas! (Harry Potter) A series of Christmas related oneshots for Harry Potter. RonHermione, HarryGinny, SnapeLily, NevilleLuna, RemusTonks, and OBHWF. Oh yes. Fluffy and angsty... the best kind of story. And also, Christmassy. I didn't actually finish this, or write as many chapters as I hoped, but I'm not going to wrote any more considering Christmas is over, so I'm saying it's complete.

- My Amortentia (Harry Potter) My first Scorpius/Rose. I'm so happy I got such a positive response to this story, and it definitely gave me a taste of what Rose and Scorp can be like. So yes, I am so writing more of them. Anyway, the story is about Valentine's Day. And lots of does he like me or not? angst. Oh yes.

- If Only He Was Blonde (Harry Potter) Okay, this came out of nowhere and is completely random. It's basically a oneshot involving Severus Snape's vision of his life if his hair was blonde, not black. It's weird. Ignore it.

- Letters Home (Harry Potter) A collection of letters written home by some of the better known Harry Potter characters, from the past, present and future, after their first day or so at Hogwarts. Took me about an hour or two to write, and it shows. Includes Lily, Sirius, Remus, Severus, Hermione, Ron, Neville, Albus Severus, Rose and Scorpius.

- Closure - My way of explaining why they didn't end up together. Set during Luna's wedding to that random Rolf dude. Neville's POV. Oneshot. I'm actually really proud of this, as it took me a long time to write. If you like Neville/Luna but JKR's "canon" events, you'll hopefully like this. I've been told it makes people cry... yay. Haha.

- 30th January - I like this, although it's a bit different to what I usually write, and I'm proud of it because of that. Basically about Snape, and his yearly visits to a place that meant a lot to him. And if you get the date, kudos.

- Persuasion - Because I love R/Hr, and I feel as if I've been neglecting them recently. And before someone else says that it would be better if I put "said Hermione" in it, that would defeat the point of it being an all dialogue fic. People tell me this is funny, and that it makes them laugh, which makes me feel very happy.

- Rose's Inappropriate Scorpius Related Thoughts - Yes, I admit it, this is basically me talking in this. But I like it, it's apaprently sweet, if a little pathetic.

- Hogwarts Never Knew What Was Coming - Fred and George's first day at Hogwarts. Aww. Written for the amazing Kushy for her birthday. ILY.

Fics In Progress:

- All the Time in the World? - A sequel to Who Needs Love? So basically, it's Ron and Hermione during their first summer as a couple, doing lots of couply things and being together. On chapter six at the moment, and I have more written, but it's on official hiatus until I get more inspiration, and more damn time.

- Interhouse Unity Or Something - I have been working on little bits of this for far too long, but it's starting to come together now I've decided what's going on. It's a Rose/Scorpius by the way.

Planned Fics:

- Harry Potter - I'm thinking about a Remus/Tonks. I love them as a couple, they're so sweet!
