I also have a minor in literature, but I don't use it for anything. In reading, I really enjoy pieces that explore relationships between parents and children, development of friendships, coming of age experiences, and moral dilemmas. Every once in a while something plotless or completely humorous is good too! I'll admit to enjoying well-written medical/accident stories too - it's always interesting to see how different people write such stories. Some of my favorite books include those by J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis, The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, A Tree Grows in Brookyln, and the play Wit. I've posted on fanfiction.net before, but what is listed on this account is some of the most recent. I write for enjoyment only; my punctuation is not the best. Rikkai and the fabulous Troika have completely captured my attention; if you've enjoyed the "hospital fic" posted here, you are welcome to search for more on my livejournal. Be aware that what's there is mainly just experimental! I'm currently a "medical" beta for attackfish - if you like Seigaku, Ryoma, and/or hospital stories, check out her "Doublefault". The characterization is spot-on and she's got a great Nanjiroh. Definitely one of my favorite AU fics!
