I'll be writing commentary on my fanfiction on my livejournal (link above) in the next few months. As a result, some of the fanfiction I've pulled down (Slayers FORTH, chapters 1-8) or which was removed for rating/content ("Not Quite Good Enough to be Going on With," my early 2001 SS/SB Harry Potter slash fic) will be reposted there. I will also be posting some previously unposted material (e.g, the sequel to "Not Quite Good Enough to be Going on With"-- yes, alas, it does have one). On the old stories, I'm going through chronologically, which means I need to get through most of the Slayers writing first. I'm mostly interested in working on new stories, so those take priority over the older things (which usually need to be converted into html before I can post them).
The fact that story summaries will no longer allow slashes, vertical bars, parentheses, semicolons, dashes, brackets, plus signs, and most other punctuation? Really annoying. (Honestly, what's wrong with semicolons?)
As of 1/9/2006: Happy birthday, Severus Snape. The sequel to Folly to Be Wise is in progress. It should be complete sometime in February. I'm not sure at this point whether it will be postable on ff.net, but, if not, it will be on my livejournal. I'll post an update here to let you know when it's done.
On comments: I tend not to leave comments on stories, so I'm not particularly offended if you don't leave me comments. Please don't interpret this as begging for them (seeing someone beg for comments or threaten not to write if they don't get them always irritates me). That said, if you want to leave a positive comment, please do. If you want to leave criticism ("Sirius is completely out of character!"), go for it. If you want to flame me (no one has yet), go for it. I may not agree with your comment, but I do read them, and I'm not offended by constructive criticism. Fanfiction.net doesn't give me a way to respond to your comments, and reading long lists of acknowledgements in stories is frustrating, so I probably won't do that. If you leave comments somewhere I can respond (my LJ, InkStained Fingers if you leave an email address, or email me directly), I will respond unless your comment disappears in cyberspace.
