Full disclosure: Since Wal-Mart has a “family values” policy (they only sell edited, non-explicit versions of CDs, for example, and don’t even sell magazines like Maxim or Cosmo, much less Playboy), when people actually pointed out to Wal-Mart what “yaoi hentai” actually is, they quickly pulled it from stores. Target, AFAIK, does not have a similar policy and still stocks the manga. That said, it’s hard to think that it was just Wal-Mart not knowing about Japanese popular culture when the description for the title was this:

“In Volume 3 of the ultra popular, kinky, sex-full Yaoi Hentai, you’ll see tentacle monster Trach nailing an unsuspecting bus rider, a poor bishonen with his wiener caught in a fence hole and the perv friend who helps, a yaoi take on the “Aristocrats” joke, hot loving with a Sultan’s slave and more! A quick bit of commentary: I recently heard that they're going to have a Yaoi con. This disturbs me. Not because I have issues with the content, but because we don't have a Hentai con. Yaoi fans seem to have this pretense that somehow watching and reading gay porn is better than hentai, or somehow it's more dignified. Yaoi isn't some kind of beautiful statement about love and they aren't telling epic stores; it's gay porn, flat out. Please stop fooling yourselves. If there's a Yaoi con, there should be a Hentai con, because it's the same thing. If you're a Yaoi fan, you're no better than a Hentai fan. Don't get me wrong – there's nothing wrong with being a hentai fan. I'm just sick of this pretense surrounding Yaoi. It's porn. Admit it.

Um, hello! Yaoi and hentai are two totally different things! Yaoi isn't just all about sex! (Although right now I can't seem to find any yaoi hentai...) This guy is so wrong! I'm so mad right now because of this! UGH!
