Hello everyone! So, this is me: bonboni. I found this website in January 07 and decided to sign up because it looked great! I love reading people's fanfiction on here and of course writing my own. I think that it's great because it develops your knowledge and vocabulary and most importantly: it's fun! It's a great thing to do when you are angry, depressed, cheerful... whatever mood you are in it's always fun writing fanfiction and reading other people's.

A little bit about me...

Favourite Books

I read mostly mystery, crime and adventure (sometimes fantasy). I am not the one to read those girly books where nothing interesting happens inside. They're just plain boring. But I do like anything which takes you by surprise and when you read it you're like: WOAH! I didn't expect that to happen! XD I would have to say that my most of my favourite books, if not my favourite, are His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman because they are enthralling and had my interest all along. I recommend those three books to anyone reading this right now, whatever age you are there is no way that you are going to find the book boring. Another favourite of mine is the series of Maximum Ride by James Patterson, the first 3 books are absolutely brilliant and the action and adventure in there was beyond my expectations. I'm trying to get my hands on the 4th book now, I really can't wait to read it! Of course, another one of my favourites, which I'm sure that you've all heard of (and if you haven't, where have you been this whole century?!) Twilight. :) I don't know anybody who has read the series and doesn't think that it's awesome- Stephenie Meyer's writing and descriptions are incredible! And finally, I'll finish with a great crime series of books: Traces - Malcolm Rose. It's half sci-fi and half crime but a great mix of both, and extremely addictive!

Favourite Movies

So many! But, again, I like action, crime... you know... anything in that area. Although I don't mind watching those chick flick films in this category now and again even though they can sometimes be quite boring indeed! One of my favourites is The Parent Trap, but I also like POTC, Stuart Little, The Golden Compass, School Of Rock, Blood Diamond, Die Hard, Saw, Scream, Atonement, The Pianist, Vantage Point... and so many others that I've missed out! :D

Favourite TV Shows

Well, I don't watch much TV these days as much as I used to. I read and go on the computer more, simply because there is hardly any TV shows that take my interest. I like quiz shows like Who Wants to be A Millionare and The Weakest Link, once in a while but they get a little boring after a while. My favourite TV shows would have to be by far, Dr Who, LOST, Strictly Come Dancing, Friends, Judging Amy, Ugly Betty and Catherine Tate. (but not in that order) I don't like reality TV at all but Strictly Come Dancing is the best and The X-Factor is not too bad. Also, Britain's Got Talent which has recently started again is quite funny.

Hobbies

Apart from writing? I love reading and visit the library at least every week, usually more. It's something I do to relax however I read so much that some of the books get lost somewhere in the back of my head about 6 months after I've read them! I also enjoy writing of any type... writing in my diary, writing short stories and poems for my english class, writing fanfiction (lol) As well as that I am very sporty and love keeping fit and active. My favourite sport would be dancing- latin and ballroom to be precise- but I also like tennis in the summer and trampolining when it's not raining outside. Another of my favourites would be watching the arty sports like figure skating and rhythmic gymnastics, although I can't do either! I also like languages and am bilingual - Bulgarian and English; I am learning French, Spanish and Latin at the moment and I would like to learn Italian in the future. :)

And now about my fanfiction...

WIPs that I am writing at the moment

Deception: This is the sequel to Switch. It is very different however to Switch and there will be lots of unexpected things happening. Recommended to anyone who enjoys suspense and drama. However, even though it is Jate, there will hardly be any romance and I would like to keep it that way so please don't ask for it. I haven't updated it in a long time although I have the general idea spaced out in my head and am looking for enough time to sit down and write it out.

Colourblind: I've had lots of problems with this fanfic. I've deleted it, edited it and re-written it at least 5 times before but now I finally have a general idea of where I want it to go. I update it every week or so but ideas are welcome and will be gratefully appreciated!

WIPs that I hope to start writing soon

I have got an idea for a Doctor Who fanfic which is about how the Doctor ends up on a parallel universe, in the future but still Earth and he realises that there are only children living there and no adults. He asks around and finds out some interesting, fascinating though scary facts about what is going on. But he never knew that behind all this is someone who he never thought he would see again. I've got this story all planned out in my head, I just need to start writing it out.

Fanfic genres that I write

Mostly drama, suspense and angst because those are my favourite but I have a few fluffy stories to read when you are feeling in that sort of mood.

Fanfic types that I write

I've only written Lost up till now but I hope to write fanfiction of His Dark Materials, one of my favourite books and also Doctor Who, one of my favourite TV Shows. I even might write a Maximum Ride or Twilight fanfiction if I get a good idea. :)

02/02/2009 - Today has been 2 years since I've joined this website! I would just like to thank all my reviewers and friends on here for being so kind and helpful. I'm very proud of what I have achieved on here- I know it's only 12 fanfictions but they took a lot of time and effort and I'm glad that everyone enjoyed reading them. I'm sorry that I haven't updated some fanfics for a very long time, I've been incredibly busy but I'll try to. Let's hope that 2009 will be a good year for me on here and I'll get even more fanfictions going. Again, thank you everyone:)
