Who Is Lianna?

Alright, since I recently learned that I never properly introduced myself, and I kind of sound really robotic on my profile, I decided to write...this...tiny...little...thing...about me. For starters, I have about...four main passions in my life. Reading/writing, music, (as of recently) anime/manga, and...ummm...--what was the last one again?--...OH YEAH...photo editing. I forget that a lot, mostly because I haven't done it in so long.

I have two main loves in life, as well. Although above it says my three favourite things are Twilight, Vampire Knight, and music, I have to say that Twilight and Vampire Knight are my main loves. Of the two of them, I have to say I prefer Twilight, but only because of seniority. Vampire Knight is a close second. I will forever love those two things. Because I'm stubborn enough to know that I will never say, "Meh, those things are boring."

I'm quiet, eccentric, hyper, bored easily, creative, idiotic, immature, patient, easily annoyed, calm, easily amused, and a ball of energy all rolled up into one person. I'm a hundred different people trying to be one person, which is very difficult. It's like I have a split personality. I sometimes feel--like a lot of other people on this site--like (though I positively depend on electronics) I was born in the wrong century. I'm a good liar, and I love doing it, just because it amuses me. I get guilty quite easily, and--is this just me?--I always feel like I have to be super polite to people.

I usually like cannon pairings, but I've known to slip now and then. Such as for Cedric and Hermione. Since I'm too lazy to go into detail, I'll just basically say I absolutely adore them together. Ron...no. Hermione would never have gone for Ron. Ever. I like Ron and all, and he's an awesome character. But he and Hermione just aren't very compatible in my opinion. I don't hate them. I just don't really like reading stories with them together.

I'm a hopeless romantic, and I believe that nothing should ever come between soulmates. That's why I detest stories with the characters (who are obviously meant to be!) going with someone else, or cheating on each other. That's what I call blasphemy. Actually, I don't like cheaters in general. I have no respect for them. So yeah. That's why I'll probably be single for life, because I feel like I should be one of those people who's first boyfriend (or girlfriend) is the person they marry. So yeah...that's probably never going to happen to me, but a girl can dream.

I don't like rap. Or metal. I don't consider that music. That's just noise with words. I have maybe one rap song that I find decent. The rest are trash. Same goes with metal. I'm not even that big a fan of pop, because I've come to a conclusion that most pop songs are about either, love, sex or heart-break. And that annoys me. I still have some pop songs that I like, but I'm more into alternative and rock.

This is random details, my full name is Lianna Kaylee Weschester. I don't like my name very much. I don't think it suits me. I live in the cold country we like to call Canada. I don't live in an igloo or say "Eh" at the end of every sentence, and I haven't just figured out the many uses of electricity. I love emeralds, and ravens. I tend to spend money too fast, so I'm constantly broke. I'm probably going to be getting a job soon with my close friend Cristina, selling Avon products. I get average grades (above eighties, so I'm proud of myself) and I tend to slack off a lot. I'm a procrastinator, and I tend to do my best work under pressure. Though I also tend to cry under pressure. Oh well. :)

I'm an increasingly negative person. Although I pretend to be positive and happy-go-lucky, I'm a real pessimist. It's depressing to most people, because they say whenever I go into one of my 'moods' they feel like they're about to commit suicide. XD And honestly, while that is hilarious, it's also kind of sad. So yeah...

I hate bugs. I had a panic attack the other day over a spider the size of the tip of a ball point pen. That's just pathetic. I'm so terrified of them, I can't even kill them because then I'd be touching them. I'm not really an 'outdoors' sort of girl. I like my computer and my writing book. I'm not a hermit though. I do go out. A lot. I just don't like it. :)

I'm fiercely protective of my two loves (Twilight and Vampire Knight). Yuki and Kaname are destined for each other, just like Bella and Edward are. Jacob and Zero are extras. They just make the plot move forward. They, by no means, are the real soulmates of Bella and Yuki. Never. Because, not only do Bella & Yuki love Edward & Kaname more than life, but they wouldn't even be alive if it weren't for Edward & Kaname. Remember? Edward saved Bella from Tyler's van, and Kaname saved Yuki from the Level E. Zero and Jacob have their good points, but mostly, I think they only serve as trying to break up the real soulmates. They're annoyances. And that's all they're good for. S'all I'm saying.

I guess you could say I have writing ADD. Actually I have ADD either way, but I guess you could say I have it for writing too. I get ideas all the time; they're constantly flying around in my brain. Even now, there's a little bud waiting for me to plant it. But, you'll notice I hardly ever finish a story. One-shots, I'm good with, because it's a quick, one-time thing. But stories, I'm terrible with. The ideas for it come and go, so it takes me awhile to find motivation to keep writing one specific thing.

My brain is really overworked lately. School is in session and I'm also trying to teach myself Japanese (which is strangely easier than I thought. I've known how to speak French since I was a little girl, yet here I am understanding Japanese better.) Therefore, don't expect me to be answering PM's as often, or reviews. Generally I only answer really special reviews (that I find either original or just heart-warming) so it's not often when I reply back.

I have a simple, childish mind. Though I do see life for all that it holds (the good and the bad), I tend to see the world as a very basic place. I don't like to make situations complicated. I don't like drama very much. There are times where I tether over the edge of depression, but I always find some way to bounce back. If I could have it my way, I'd like for my life to be as happy and uncomplicated as possible. I like happy endings.

I think I'm made up of two different people. Though I did say I'm a thousand different people trying to be one, I've narrowed it down to two people. I've rounded up all the characteristics and placed them into two seperate boxes. The first half of me, is someone I like to call Lianna. Lianna is creative, and rebellious. She likes things that most others find rather odd. She's the side that wants to drink and do things that I wouldn't normally do. She's curious and fiery. She's my sarcastic half, who never backs down from anything. Then, there's my other half. That's the side I like to call Phia. She's the sweet, innocent side of me. She's incredibly immature, and hates to do anything remotely "rule-breaking". She's obssessed with the good side of life, and can find a good thing to say about anything. She sings at the randomest times, and always has a smile on her face. She's pure happiness.

Actually, check that. There is one more side. I've talked about my happy side, and I've talked about my rather dangerous side. But...there is one other person inside of me. I think she sounds very much like a Victoria. She's the side of me who can't find it in her to smile. She cries easily, and has bouts of depression so tangible that people have to physically ask me "Are you sure you're okay?" When she appears is when I get the inspiration for my angst stories. But, luckily, of all the people, Phia is the most dominant. Lianna comes second. Then Victoria. I'll go more into depth on this on my blog.

My favourite mangas (and animes) are, Vampire Knight, Black Bird, Ouran High School Host Club, Death Note, Tokyo Mew Mew Power, Absolute Boyfriend, and Cardcaptor Sakura. My favourite pairings are as following: Bella and Edward, Kaname and Yuki, Haruhi and Tamachi, Riiko and Night, Cedric and Hermione, Sakura and Syaoran, and--may I just emphasize this--Dren and Zoey. I'm a total Dren and Zoey fan. I just love them together. Mark bothers me. He isn't good enough for Zoey. He's nice and all, and I squeal and jump everytime Zoey gets really happy, but I find Dren an amazing character and the best match for Zoey. 'Nough said.

Uhh...I guess that's all I have to say for now. Don't be shy about sending me PM's or anything. I love them. I squeal and bounce with joy everytime I get a good review or a nice PM. It's quite sad. Oh well. I'll add more to this 'little' column another time.

Plots I HATE: (I got the idea to do this from The Romanticidal Edwardian)

Twilight:

1) Bella gets raped:

Okay, let’s face it, if it wasn't an all human story, it could never happen once Bella met Edward, Alice would see a vision of Bella being raped and tell Edward about it before anything happened, even if it was split second. Besides, when does Edward leave Bella alone long enough to get raped. He's too overprotective. It's just a sad type of story. You can write, but like the rest of this list, I just won't read it.

2) Bella and Jacob:

They've already made this clear, Bella is in love with Jacob, but she can't live without Edward. She just loves him more. Edward and Bella are soul mates, they aren't meant for anyone but the other.

3) Bella and Mike:

I don't like Mike. Never have, never will. This would never happen. Never would Bella suddenly decide "You know, I want to date Mike." First off, because Bella is a good friend. She knows Jessica likes Mike, and she would never do that to Jessica, no matter how mean Jess can be to her. Second off, Bella really isn't that into Mike. She was given plenty of chances to even just hang out with him, and she declined. She likes him as a friend. Nothing more.

4) Charlie is abusive:

Give me a break. Charlie is the furthest thing from an abuser. Just...don't get me started.

5) Edward never came back:

Nooooooo!! Edward had to come back, there is no second option! N-O, Edward came back, end of story! Edward would have come back, for the simple reason that he can't live (pun not intended) without her.

6) Edward had a fling or a girlfriend before Bella or after:

What I mean by that is, if he had some sort of fling with Tanya or one of the other females back in Delani. It already said in Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse, that he didn't want anyone before he met Bella. That also goes for after he met Bella, when he left her in New Moon. Remember when he said he pretty much curled up into a ball and let the misery get to him? He wouldn't have been so quick to move on. And just as a side note, him having a girlfriend before he met Bella? Well...that almost only works if it's an all-human story. Even then...no.

7) Bella or Edward gave up their virginities before meeting each other:

Ok, I'm not even going to argue this fact, because it wouldn't happen. Neither Bella nor Edward ever met someone who would want to make them have sex. And neither of them are sluts, manwhore, etc..., I hate stories where Bella is a slut and Edward is a manwhore. OOC to the max.

8) Bella with any of the other Cullen's or Hale:

Let's face it, Alice and Jasper and soul mates and so are Emmett and Rosalie, nothing could ever separate them. And honestly, how could Edward cheat on the love of his life with one of the two girls he considers his sisters. And why would they--having mates already--willing follow his actions? Makes no sense.

9) If Edward left for a second time, or actually GOT over Bella the FIRST time he left:

Not going to bother arguing with this one. I understand, that a lot of people like non-cannon pairings, I do too. But really, make a better excuse as to why Edward would ever leave Bella. You can write it, I just won't read it.

10) BELLA HERSELF gets over Edward, moves on, goes with Jake:

Wrong with a capital W. Bella loves Edward too much; she became a zombie when he left, all because of her love for him. She loves Jake true, but her love for Edward is greater, and in the end, true love conquers all. (Sorry, that was corny, but it sounded right!)

11) Angela is a bitch/slut and/or groupie of Lauren and Jessica:

Okay, I don't really hate this plot; I just dislike it, because Angela is the farthest thing from a bitch and/or slut, so that's just about as OOC you can get other than Charlie, the abusive dad.

I'm sorry if you guys think I hate all stories. I really don't. These are just plot lines I happen to see a lot and...well, to be frank, they suck. I understand that sometimes these things need to happen in order for the story itself to get started, but really, it's kind of sad. Characters don't always have to be perfectly in character, but don't turn them completely into something they're not.

Midnight Sun

As some of you may know, Stephenie's partial-draft of Midnight Sun was illegally posted on the Internet and has since been virally distributed without her permission or knowledge or the knowledge or permission of her publisher and because of this, Stephenie is considering not finishing the novel. So, thanks to a bunch of idiots who thought it would be funny to post twelve freakin' chapters without her permission, thousands--no, hundreds of thousands of fans are probably not going to be able to read Midnight Sun.

So how funny is it now? Ever since Twilight first came out, everyone always wanted to know what was going on inside Edward's head during every event: What was his first reaction to seeing Bella, in his mind? What were his feelings when he went to spy on Bella that fateful night? When did he first realize he loved Bella? These were questions (along with hundreds of others) that passed through my head when I started the first book of the Twilight saga. For the longest time the only thing I could think about was: Could Stephenie possibly write a novel about Twilight in Edward's perspective? So I literally jumped for joy when I first heard about Midnight Sun. I swear, my friends couldn't get me to shut up for weeks. And when I read the first chapter, my first thought was: W-o-w. I was ecstatic, this meant, that after Breaking Dawn was published, I would still have a book to read about Bella and Edward! I wouldn't completely lose the series!

And now, I'll probably never get to read the whole book. Sure I've read the leaked twelve chapters (They were published on Stephenie's site) but what's the fun in that? That was a partial-draft! There's a reason for that name, it meant that it wasn't edited, corrected, re-read, etc... Thanks to these morons, me and every other Twilight fan in the world, will probably never have the nice, printed, fresh, copy of Midnight Sun to put in our bookshelves beside Breaking Dawn, we'll never be able to open that clean, hardcover (or paperback, your preference) novel and re-read Edward's side of the story. Twelve chapters does not make a book, especially not this book! Will we ever know exactly what Edward was thinking when he read Bella's note? Will we ever know exactly what he felt when he saw Bella, bruised and bloody in the ballet studio? Will we?

Those assholes had better watch their step, because if any of us Twilight fan girls ever find out who they were...well, I'll leave the rest to your imagination.

I recently learned that someone actually had the nerve to steal my rant (The one above.) Because I have no wish to embarrass her, I won't say the name. But, what I will say, is I hope that anyone who reads this will have the heart not to steal my rant or anything else I write. Everything I write is like a child to me, no matter what it is. I took time to shape and create it, and it cuts me to see it stolen and claimed as their own.

I assure you, that I would never do something like that. For me, it hurt so badly. I'm not going to go ahead and say it hurt like someone stealing my own child, because that's ignorant and obnoxious. Having a child stolen if three million times worse than this. But it did hurt. Now I nearly know what Stephenie Meyer felt like when her twelve chapters were posted. I've heard of this happening before, but never actually experienced it.

Now, right now I could go ahead and bash this author over and over again. But I won't. And you know why? Because I'm not like that. And I know this is Fan Fiction, and you're practically just saying: "Oh, please take everything I own." But I thought my readers had some decency in them (Once again, not mentioning names).

I know I don't always respond to reviews, but I still appreciate them nonetheless. It boosts my confidence and makes me want to write even more.
