Author has written 30 stories for Anne of Green Gables series, Firefly, NCIS: Los Angeles, Stargate: Atlantis, Thoughtcrimes, and Glee. I am a 27 year old writing obsessed, music enthusiast. Until a year ago I worked as a concert promoter full time in New York for a private company...then the economy went to hell, our sponsors pulled out and a (borderline corrupt) local government decided to vote down our yearly contract for a festival. Murphy's Law essentially threw up all over my life. Life's starting to level out now; but while it was all up in the air I threw myself face first into writing - original fic, fanfic (of many many different fandoms so that I could work with many many different characterizations) and more journalistic/blogging styles. As for fic? I've pretty much immersed myself into the Glee fandom for the time being because the characters were screaming at me to write them with some semblance of maturity and logic (something the show writers seem to lack unfortunately). Also, somewhere around the third episode of the show I became a complete and total unapologetic Puckleberry fan so, that's essentially what I write. It's the classic good girl/bad boy dynamic that preys on my sense of romanticism mixed with the fact that Puck actually seems to like her and doesn't care that Rachel's just slightly left of normal. What can I say? I'm not one to fight with my muse. 11/28/11: Hey, I know I haven't updated anything in a while - I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm having surgery at the beginning of the week to remove a benign tumor from my underarm lymph nodes. It took them about 2 weeks to figure out that it was benign so I wasn't really thinking about writing. Once I'm all recovered (it's apparently going to make using my right arm seriously painful for a few weeks) I'll be sure to churn something out. My Tumblr | |||||||
