What's new?

I have a feeling I should be hiding in a ditch or under my bed right now, because I know that, at this moment, my life is in danger. I cannot believe, just like you guys probably can't, that it's taken me this long to log in to FFnet and even longer to update. I'm an idiot and a cold-hearted bitch for saying this, but: I'm not updating today either. I recently came across the current drafts of Win a Week, and was completely ashamed. How could my writing have been that poorly only a few months ago? So, basically, I'm revamping my poor dead story once again. I know I say this every time, but I'm going to hopefully be done with what is already posted by December. I'm really determined this time. I'm trying to get myself motivated and get working. I've been joining clubs, signing up for volunteer work and tutoring, applying for a job, and all that stuff. No more waiting for something amazing and unforgettable to happen to me to get my ass in gear. Nope. I'm doing it myself. Who cares what fate thinks anyways?

Since I've last posted anything, my aunt's gotten married, my other aunt had her house blown away by a tornado, and I've become a sophomore. I'm currently taking Spanish IV AP, and then I'll take Spanish V Ap in the spring, so basically my GPA is going to need a funeral this year. Everyone should say goodbye to it while they can. I'm also taking Chem, and let me tell you this, Quantum Theory isn't all it's cracked up to be. Seriously, it kills you. However all of this is worth it, because everyday at 10:15 a.m. and I head over to my journalism class for second period. I love this class. It's great to experience so many other styles and media of writing. I'm so hyped up about this year. Not to mention my teacher has a crazy sarcastic sense of humor that no one seems to understand--similar to mine. :D

Since then, I've not only managed to start writing again, but I've rewritten Slave and have started a WAW revamp. And remember that Journalism teacher that I loved? Yeah. She's now my adviser. Because I'm on the paper now. You heard me. I'm on the paper. Bad-ass.

I dropped Spanish V, but who gives a damn. I'm done with other languages! Let me focus on English!

Anyway. I'm working on that WAW fix. So stay tuned, yeah?
