IN PROGRESS The Lady and the Tramp. The sequel to Tramps and Thieves, The Lady and the Tramp follows Gretchen, Jonathan, Rick, and Evelyn as they head off to tour museums around the world with the treasures of Hamunaptra. They encounter a little snag, however, when Meela appears on the ship with plans to resurrect her ancient lover. With a heavy curse to break and the love of two men, Gretchen must decide between her own selfish wants - and the needs of others.Enchantress. Believe it or not, I'm writing another Mummy rewrite. No, seriously. I wanted to address the overused fandom device of Rick's sister, and I wanted her to actually change the plot of the story (which Gretchen, of course, didn't do in TAT). A true Ardeth/OC romance, this story will hopefully kick the Rick's sister stereotype up a notch. And Love Thee After. (HIATUS) ABOUT THE TRAMPS AND THIEVES UNIVERSE Tramps and Thieves started on a whim. Tired of reading the same old rendition stories, I decided to write my own - as opposite to the ones I'd read over and over (and over) as possible. I didn't expect anyone to pay much attention to my pessimistic, introspective little prostitute, but Gretchen somehow managed to gain a momentum quite her own. If you're looking to follow her story, the fics about her are as followed (in chronological order): Only the Constant. A one-shot set sometime before the first movie, this story stands as a snapshot of Gretchen's relationship with Jonathan prior to the events of Tramps and Thieves. 9:00 AM. When Beni met Gretchen. A short and rarely-read piece, this one-shot details Gretchen and Beni's introduction, and features Gretchen's full name and a little of her history before coming to Egypt. Tramps and Thieves. The first installment. Gretchen, a sarcastic and selfish prostitute, gets unfortunately mixed up in an expedition to Hamunaptra. Between annoyances with her regulars Beni and the Warden, the short temper of her short client, Herman Daniels, and the foreboding warnings of a certain Med-Jai warrior, it's all Gretchen can do to keep her head above water. And while a mummy being raised from the dead may sound like the cherry on top of a disasterous sundae, Gretchen might just find an inner strength she didn't know she had thanks to her adventure.
