Hello :) As you may have read, I am Rachel. I'm a 19 year old student from Sunderland, in the North-East of England. I study English Literature and Japanese at Newcastle University, have 2 part time jobs and aspire to eventually be a writer. If I can find the time. My career goal, other than the writing, is to become a Secondary School English and Drama teacher.
I'm a big fan of anime and manga and am currently the President of my university's Anime Society. All of this combined to make me a very busy person, so my fanfiction takes a back seat.
I usually go by my obsessions, so whatever I am currently obsessed with, I probably have a few ideas floating around for fanfiction. It often means that any ongoing stories whose fandom I am not currently obsessed with usually arn't being worked on. Which is a shame.
I prefer to write one-shots as I change favourite fandoms so much that there is no guarantee of completing a multi-chaptered fic.

I can pretty much guarantee that I have a major obsession with Vegeta and Bulma so I will always be working on a BxV fanfiction.

I've recently had a bit of a disaster regarding my fanfiction. I kept all of my fanfiction, plans, original stories and important documents on a memory stick. Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted everything on that memory stick and lost it all. Even trying to restore it failed, as nearly everything returned corrupted. So whatever chapters I had written but not posted have been lost. To say that I am upset is a bit of an understatement, since I'd spent so much time working on my fanfiction. I'm a bit disillusioned and lost, however I hope to get back on track and write more soon.

Distant Memories - Full Moon wo Sagashite - Takuto x Meroko fic. Takuto Kira and Meroko Yui are best friends, hiding deeper feelings. Due to a misunderstanding a jealous Takuto chooses his band over his childhood friend and brokenhearted Meroko commits suicide. Takuto's world crumbles and after a bout of depression he too kills himself. Meanwhile, Meroko is a shinigami and having failed one partnership is put with the newbie, who vaguely reminds her of someone whom she should not remember, lest her forgotten memories come back and end her shinigami duty. Both she and the newbie (Takuto) are coming dangerously close to remembering their forbidden past and being forever torn apart as ghosts. But will that get in the way of their old love?

Tempted By Accident - Pride and Prejudice - ("Mr. Bingley had not been of age two years, when he was tempted by an accidental reccommendation to look at Netherfield House." - Pride and Prejudice, chapter 4) When Bingley and Darcy visit Netherfield for the first time, Darcy rides off and accidentally meets a country gentlewoman in distress. He rescues her and finds he can't get her out of his mind, and so rather than leaving Bingley to stay in Hertfordshire with his sisters and brother-in-law, he decides to join him in the hopes of seeing her once more. An alternate storyline for Pride and Prejudice.
