Hi, I'm Amy and I'm 24. I live in the UK and have recently finished an undergraduate degree in Creative Writing. Instead of writing stuff that could potentially make me money, I write fanfic - hey, I enjoy it, and it makes people happy. :) People looking for updates to The Light of Truth are gonna be disappointed at the moment - my fandom focus is almost exclusively on NCIS right now, with a deviation into one-shots here and there. I'll put out a universal 'thank you' to everyone who's contacted me via this site - some of you have become friends, others just leave reviews here and there. Either way, I couldn't have written this much, or improved at all, without your opinions and constructive criticism. You rule. Even the flamers - because I laugh at flamers. They make my day. In fact, if there are any flamers reading this, leave a few flames to cheer me up. XD I really try not to step on anyone's toes and write stuff that's close to the fics that I've read. Obviously though, I can't read everything, and sometimes I have spooky mind-melds with people, so if anything I've posted seems similar to other fics, I swear it's not intentional! I've been neglecting replying to signed reviews of late, which is really sucky of me. So from now on I'm going to take more time out to reply. :) Now the responsible bit... Firstly, I don't own any of the characters or dialogue or scenarios you might find in my fics. They belong solely to the copyright holders. If you don't recognise it, then it's most likely mine (or from something you haven't seen - y'know!). Secondly, I write a lot of kink/BDSM. And I mean, a lot. So if there's a label on the fic warning for the Sir/Little Tease 'verse, that's gonna mean bondage, discipline/domination, sadism/submission and masochism. If you don't like it, don't read it. Thirdly, the kink fics I write have methods in them that are highly dangerous. Some of them were written before I experienced kink myself, and so are based on wish fulfilment. If you're looking to find out how to do kink, my fics are NOT the place; especially since I'm a submissive! I don't know the technical side of everything - if in doubt, don't do it. What I do know is this: people playing together for the first time should NEVER do so without a thorough discussion about limits, safewords, health problems etc. I know I have this happen in most of my fics, but it's not the way to do it. I just don't write it because it would interrupt the flow of the events - kinda like how I rarely write birth control or discussions thereon into fics. It's important, but writing/reading it - at least for me - isn't too enjoyable. If you are curious about kink and plan to try, read as many books as you can (for beginners, SM 101 by Jay Wiseman is considered throughout the kink community to be a very wise choice), talk to experienced Dom/mes and subs, and don't be afraid to ask questions.
