Author has written 27 stories for Redwall, Stargate: SG-1, Stargate: Atlantis, Stargate, Stargate: Universe, Movie X-overs, Game X-overs, Mass Effect, Halo, and TV X-overs. PROFILE OUT OF DATE... REBUILDING SGD SEASON TWO: RELEASED I am one of the few male fanfic writers in existence. I like Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis, but not Universe because Universe is terrible. I also like NCIS, Mass Effect, Halo, and Call of Duty. I read fics for all of those, and write for a few. I go by XCVG on Spacebattles, by the way. Check out that and my YouTube channel (XCVGVCX) if you can, there are some things related to my fics there. I like to give things development codenames because I suck with actual titles. I generally don't read or write romance fics, I don't like them. Most feel awkward, forced, and just generally lame, although some are very well done. Same goes for self-inserts and most crossovers. I like humour fics, but they have to be good and not just "cute" or stupid. I'm not against crossovers, I'm just against the execution of most crossovers. Honestly, for every well-done, interesting crossover, there are a zillion ill-conceived ones. I like stomp fics and not-so-stomp fics. I like fics that have a balance of action, plot development and character drama. Actually, that goes for pretty much everything. There are a few fics that I really like, and many that I really don't like. It should go without saying that I don't write romance, sappy fics, or angst. I have written a bad crossover though. It's called Halogate, and I'll rewrite it eventually. Most of the stuff I've written is awful. Anything before (but not including) Halogate can be safely ignored. In fact, please ignore it. If it's not finished, it won't ever be finished. From Halogate onward, I read a lot more and started to get semi-decent at writing. I'm still not the best, and I'll admit that. SGD Season 1 is finished, and I've moved on to Season 2 (Greater Vancouver), which is my primary focus right now. Reboot Mass Effect is in progress and will be finished... maybe. GateWar has been cancelled but a rewrite may appear. I'm considering doing something else entirely. Ideas include an NCIS/SG-1 fic where Cassie is kidnapped, a Call of Duty fanfic tentatively titled Future Warfare (Dynasty) that will take place 10-15 years after MW2, or a Girl Genius fic involving the Soviet Union (Revolution). There's also the Mass Effect SI (Deconstruction), the CoD femOC fanfic (Reconstruction) and the Rainbow Six/Call of Duty crossover (Patriots)... And of course, Invasion MCAU. I've also started on a novel which I will probably never finish. Current Projects (self-explanatory): SGD Season 2 (Greater Vancouver): Currently in development. Includes Ori, but handled differently. This is my current focus right now, and has just been released. After a year-long fight to defeat the goa'uld and win the freedom of the galaxy, a new enemy threatens to destroy the fragile peace. They will stop at nothing to rule under a banner of enlightenment. Now, the united forces of Earth must work with unlikely allies new and old to stave off a devastating attack... or face utter domination. Reboot Mass Effect: An extragalactic enemy led the humans of Earth to enact extreme measures to save their planet. It's been millions of years since, but to the humans, it's been only a century and a half. Now, it is up to one woman to prove to the galaxy that everything they thought they knew was wrong and stop the cycle of extinction from continuing. SG/ME crossover, inspired by Reboot by Beneficia. Battle of the Sheps: ME/SG/NCIS/HL/MW2 crossover. A galaxy-saving Commander, an Air Force Colonel that's been to other galaxies, a director of NCIS with a personal mission, a Marine Corporal that was deployed to the wrong place at the wrong time, and a rogue American General willing to get his way at any cost. They're in New York, and they're here right now. Now available on FF.net. Ideas (may or may not write): Girl Genius Soviet Union fic (codename REVOLUTION) Complete: SGD Season 1: A semi-AU fic. Splits from Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis in Season 7 SG-1. Involves spaceships, powered armour, and tank battalions. It's actually not as stomptastic as you might think. Semi-complete, really, since Season 1 is finished, but Season 2 is still a work in progress. Halogate: AU/Crossover; In the future, the Covenant, a religious alliance of several races has declared war on humanity. Among their defenses is the recently-formed SGC, a branch of the military that uses a device called a Stargate, which allows instant travel between planets. DONE! In retrospect though, it didn't turn out that well. The Last City: The Book of Eli/Stargate Atlantis. That right there pretty much spoils the whole thing. Oneshot. Stargate SG-29: A parody. About a new "European" team. So much for the best of the best, it seems to be made up of the worst of the worst. A snobby rich Englishman, a klutzy Frenchwoman, a half-crazy German, a Communist Russian, and an Italian mafia member make up SG-29. Set in seasons 7-8, with highly debatable continuity. COMPLETE, sorta. It was garbage and I'll admit that freely. Fight For Freedom: My first (real) fanfic- a parody of Mossflower (Redwall). Was quite popular for a while. It's still very funny, and probably my best parody. Looking back on it, though, it's awful. Another Day On Patrol: Fast forward the Redwall world 500-700 years to a modern tech level. This is about a sub, and it's a very short oneshot. Pretty meh. The Ridge: A Redwall fanfic. The battle from The Long Patrol with a World War 2 (roughly) tech level. A fairly long oneshot. It turned out mostly okay. By my standards at the time. Stargate Youniverse: A parody of SGU. Didn't even make it through the first episode before I gave up, mostly due to disgust at SGU. Added a really bad ending and called it a day. Can't do that, sir!: Oneshot. An alternate ending to SGU. A cautious and argumentative sergeant ends it before it begins. Wrong Guy: Legion finds out that it isn't the Shepard he was looking for. The category kind of gives this away. | |||||||
