Author has written 12 stories for Sonic the Hedgehog, Dragon Heart, Harry Potter, X-overs, and D N Angel. I'm sorry, but I'm unlikely to continue any of my older stories here (anything before Foundling). They were written when I was a bit of a rabid fangirl, and I'd like to think I've grown up a bit since then. I'm leaving my old fics up, but they're NOT being updated. Feel free to read, point and laugh. For anybody visiting my profile because I favourited them or added them to my alerts list, here's a little bit about me - that's what you're here for, right? I'm a slightly pessimistic optimist in her mid-twenties who speaks both Finnish and Queen's English as a native (though my English is slightly better), reads fic in a variety of fandoms and spends most of her free time either online or chasing after her three mischievous cats. I also enjoy gardening, handicrafts and watching a variety of TV series. Most of my likes in terms of fandom are represented in my favourites list. I'm also more than a bit of a stickler for good spelling and grammar. This means incorrect usage of your/you're and there/their/they're rubs me the wrong way, and correct usage earns you figurative brownie points. If I favourited your story, it's probably because it made me laugh (in a good way) and I intend to print it out at some later date to enjoy by torchlight during a longer power-cut. If I favourited you, it's because you've written more than one story that I enjoyed and it's easier to favourite the author than umpteen separate stories. A similar rule applies if I added you to my alerts list. (I may have done both: that's so it's easier to find a particular favourite.) Note: I've never actually lived in the UK, just visited once for a couple of weeks (airport layovers notwithstanding) so I'll probably make mistakes regarding the way things are done there. Google will only take you so far when you don't know the right questions to ask... 27.4.2011: 37(!) hits for Irrumpo Ritus in something like 24 hours! Colour me surprised. I've started on Chapter 2, but it certainly won't be done (or up) for a while yet. Check my blog for any snippets I might post later on. 4.7.2011: Not dead, just distracted by real life (and stuck). Still working on IR chapter 4, but it's slow going. 28.8.2011: Still alive, and working on IR chapter four as I write this. Been busy with school-related stuff which has taken up the lion's share of my time. Chapter 4 is maybe 1/3 of the way done. 4.9.2011: General notice: I usually update my blog first, anywhere from a few hours to a couple of days before I do FF.net - if you're eagerly awaiting an update for something, it might be an idea to keep an eye on the aforementioned blog. IR chapter 4 was posted there about an hour ago, but won't be posted here for a while. Perhaps tomorrow, once I've double-checked for weird formatting or spelling/grammatical mistakes. Foundling is complete the way it is: I really don't have time to go into the entirety of an AU of First Year at the moment. Vocational school (IT branch) comes first. | |||||||
