I enjoy telling stories and although my methods and motivation might seem obscure even to those who share my interests I've generally proven to be effective at it when I put my mind to it. I'm also very critical about what I write, but as long as others like what they see I have no reason to hold myself back because of it. Oh, one more random fact about me is that I happen to actually be left-handed. Even people who have known me for years are frequently surprised by this. As such I will be participating in NaNoWriMo which basically means I'll have one month to produce 50,000 words that will hopefully form a coherent story. For me the question isn't about whether or not I will be able to write 50,000 words in 30 days so much as its about whether or not those 50,000 words will become all or part of something I might actually be able to have published once I finish. It was already proven last year that I can throw together 50,000 words in a month if I set my mind to it, but this time I want to prove to myself that those words are capable of holding some value for the future. What this means is that during the month of November it is unlikely that I will be working on any fanfiction as my own original writing will be taking priority. Don't expect anything new to be submitted here until December at the earliest. I do intend to finish the projects that I've started, but for now I'm putting them on hold so that I can focus. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience this might cause. Updated September 29, 2009 I somehow let myself get talked into working on two pseudo long term projects. I have a general idea of where I'll be going with Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Enigmatic Origin which means I have determined the plot and eventual conclusion to the story. Ghosts of the Digital World is a little more open ended on account of the fact that I had originally planned for the first chapter to be a one shot story to prove to my friends that writing a crossover between Shaman King and Digimon Adventure 02 was a bad idea. The argument didn't take and now I've become obligated to just kind of go with it. I'm also probably going to continue systematically distracting myself by periodically writing one shot stories for the Shaman King fandom since it's still one of my most prominent interests. Only time will tell how long that will last. By the way, I appreciate getting feedback on my stories.
